Dear Kickstarter backers,

We are very excited to announce that Boone will be having its Portland premiere on Wednesday July 20th at 7:00pm at the Whitsell Auditorium / Portland Art Museum! The film is being presented by the Northwest Film Center and Chris and I will both be in attendance as well as farmer Mookie Moss for a Q and A. It is currently our ONLY screening in Portland so we would love to see you there.

Thanks always for your support and hope to see you soon!  -Kat and Chris

"This very special Northwest Tracking series will feature the Portland premiere of three documentaries about regional farming industries and the bonds between humans and animals in the Northwest. The three films are Milk Men by Jan Haaken, Loose Horses by Kathy Kasic, and Boone by Christopher LaMarca.  We will be hosting a panel the second night of the series prior to Loose Horses in which all of the filmmakers will be present including special guests Frann Michel, chair of Film Studies at Willamette University and Michael Moss, a founder of the Small Farmers Reclamation Act. An opening reception for this series will take place on Monday, July 18 prior to the screening of Milk Men"
