We reached our $5,000 minimum goal -- but we are still raising money. Everything you give now helps us with our postproduction. We are so grateful!
SYNOPSIS: Combining elements of fantasy and farce with uproarious comedy and domestic drama, “Elliot Loves” tells two seemingly disparate stories: that of nine year-old Dominican-American Elliot Ayende, who is best friend and sidekick to his young single mother; and one summer in the life of Elliot, now 21 years-old and enduring a string of comically bad relationships. Both stories explore the universal need to be loved and understood.
Recalling the freewheeling zaniness and unbridled sexuality of early Almodovar (“Law of Desire,” “Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown”), along with the tender yet bold sensuality of films like “Y Tu Mama Tambien,” “Elliot Loves” is daring and new yet ultimately embracing of the human condition and all its frailties. As Elliot himself teaches us, we can survive almost anything life throws at us, just “Keep it cute, papi.”

OUR JOURNEY: We began financing our feature "Elliot Loves" out of our own pockets. Soon, companies like Hennessy, Heineken and Cafe Bustelo saw our footage and are now supporting us financially. We now have 45 minutes/45 pages shot!
YOUR HELP: We really need your support to get the second half of the film shot. We are about $5,000 short of what we need to finish shooting. Look at our pitch video, which has clips from what we have shot already. Check out our Reward Tiers. Please embark on this amazing journey with us!
