Approaching the Finish Line: Post-Kickstarter week 34

Greetings residents of Gloomhaven!

I have just a small update for you this week. No big news, no flashy stuff to share. We are just plugging along, trying to wrap everything up.

I've been focusing on more odds and ends this week, continuing edits on the scenario book, the town records book, and everything else. I've also been making glyph languages, double-checking cross-references between components, and setting up some video game save files for skeleton-slaying in my spare time.

Josh has put a lot of time into getting the box cover, sides, and back together this week. Also the list he sent me of stuff he still has to do is fairly short, and he seems pretty confident that he'll be able to get it done in another week or so, which is also when I'm expecting to be done with all edits and balance tweaking.

So what does that mean? We've got another week or week and a half of work ahead of us, and then I predict that some time during the week of June 6 we'll be sending everything to the printers! Yay!

I don't know about you, but I'm excited to get at least this one weight of my shoulders. There's still a long road ahead with proofing and production and shipping, but soon we can celebrate that our largest hurdle at least has been surmounted.

I will update you next week about whether we are still on track, and I should have more pretty pictures for you then, as well. Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend! (If you're in the U.S., that is.)
