Slow but Steady: Post-Kickstarter week 29
Greetings residents of Gloomhaven!
There's not much to report on this week. Business as usual, I suppose.
I finished another 16 of the 45 remaining scenarios in the scenario book over the last week, which is still on par for getting the whole lot done in another two weeks. Of course, I would have liked to get more done, but it seems I am still burdened by other little things, so I spent most of the weekend on another round of rule book and character ability card edits. It's still all time well spent.
Good news is that I got through all of the personal quest-related scenarios, which were the more complicated and story-heavy side scenarios, so now it's all random side scenarios and event-related scenarios, which should be easier.
Oh, and there were two personal quest scenarios that I had never even got around to working on at all, so I sat down and wrote what I think is the most awesome scenario I've ever come up with. It is so cool, it will blow your mind. I wish I could tel you about it, but it's probably best you just discover it on your own.
Right, so, anyway, everything is still on track. If everything goes well, we should be sending files to the printer in about a month, which will probably be one of the happiest days of my life. Seriously, creating this game has been harder than writing my PhD dissertation.
And then I'll be able to do other exciting things like kill skeletons for you and coordinate shipping. Yay!
Also I definitely hope you've turned in your survey and sent any add-on money to me through Paypal, because I will be exporting your surveys very soon to create a final count on games to be produced. If you want to add stuff to your pledge after that, well, I'll probably let you because I'm too nice, but I will be secretly annoyed, and it will take time away from me finishing the game.
All right, I think that's all there is to report this week. Well, it's also my birthday on Sunday, if that is of any interest to you. I'm going to the zoo!
Until next time!
