Seven days later
Well, folks, we are clocking in at one week past the end of the Kickstarter, so it's about time we call in the final numbers to see how much money has officially been contributed.
We are sitting at $11,328 in pre-orders, bringing our total to $397,432!
Still $2,500 short of the goal, but, really, who cares? I'd call it pretty darned close, so we'll go ahead and call that stretch goal achieved. I've already done the hard part, anyway. Now it's just a matter of writing a thematically appropriate pie-eating contest event. No problem.
As far as progress achieved in the last couple days, you may be pleased to hear that I have fine-tuned the starting Cragheart deck sufficiently enough that I am comfortable putting it up on Tabletop Zen for you all to play with.
That's right! If you load up the first scenario, you can find the Cragheart player mat and cards over on the right side of the table.
I've also developed a preliminary deck for the Mindthief, and I am currently testing and fine-tuning that. I had fun in my last play test running the Spellweaver, Scoundrel and Mindthief through the first scenario in full glass cannon mode. The Scoundrel ended up getting exhausted when I got a little too cocky, but they still burned through those monsters very quickly.
Hopefully I'll have a playable version of the Mindthief for you guys by Friday when I send out another update. I've decided that Friday will be a good day for me to send out the weekly progress updates, so expect just an update every Friday from now on until we go to print.
If you'd like to hear from me more than once a week for whatever reason, I would direct you to my website, where you can get much less organized thoughts about gaming and other stuff every Tuesday. The blog fell a bit to the wayside during the campaign, but it is back now, for your reading pleasure.
You probably didn't detect the mild sarcasm in that last bit, but trust me, it was there.
And with that, I should probably get back to work. Talk to you later!
