Seven days later

Well, folks, we are clocking in at one week past the end of the Kickstarter, so it's about time we call in the final numbers to see how much money has officially been contributed.

We are sitting at $11,328 in pre-orders, bringing our total to $397,432!

Still $2,500 short of the goal, but, really, who cares? I'd call it pretty darned close, so we'll go ahead and call that stretch goal achieved. I've already done the hard part, anyway. Now it's just a matter of writing a thematically appropriate pie-eating contest event. No problem.

As far as progress achieved in the last couple days, you may be pleased to hear that I have fine-tuned the starting Cragheart deck sufficiently enough that I am comfortable putting it up on Tabletop Zen for you all to play with.

That's right! If you load up the first scenario, you can find the Cragheart player mat and cards over on the right side of the table.

I've also developed a preliminary deck for the Mindthief, and I am currently testing and fine-tuning that. I had fun in my last play test running the Spellweaver, Scoundrel and Mindthief through the first scenario in full glass cannon mode. The Scoundrel ended up getting exhausted when I got a little too cocky, but they still burned through those monsters very quickly.

Hopefully I'll have a playable version of the Mindthief for you guys by Friday when I send out another update. I've decided that Friday will be a good day for me to send out the weekly progress updates, so expect just an update every Friday from now on until we go to print.

If you'd like to hear from me more than once a week for whatever reason, I would direct you to my website, where you can get much less organized thoughts about gaming and other stuff every Tuesday. The blog fell a bit to the wayside during the campaign, but it is back now, for your reading pleasure.

You probably didn't detect the mild sarcasm in that last bit, but trust me, it was there.

And with that, I should probably get back to work. Talk to you later!

Well yes, this is rather awesome. Really looking forward to taking the Cragheart and Mindthief on a crawl in TabletopZen this weekend. Thanks Isaac!

    2. Gutris

Awesome :) Honestly, everything would be too greedy and parity with Tabletop Zen might be difficult, so I'll take what I can get. Thanks!

Okay, I can't do everything as a PnP, but I'll take some time and at least get you the starting decks for the Cragheart and Mindthief.

    4. chang on

      yay!!! thx! :)

Same request & comments as Gutris on the PnP files. ;)

Any chance we can get the PnP files? Just did a four player run-through a few days ago, would definitely like to run it again with a new class if I get the chance :)

I know PnP is probably pretty low on the priorities (as it should be,) but if you have the time and inclination, I think there would be some demand for them to be hosted on BGG or dropbox of the like.

      Either way, awesome all-around :)

Scotfree, oh, crap, I used the wrong version of the Cragheart player mat. Should be 11 stamina. I'll get that fixed.

    8. Leonce on

We get the event!! Thanks, Isaac, and congratulations to the campaign which now finally raised almost 400k! Not too shabby ;)
Now Friday becomes Gloomhaven day.. yay

    9. Reyos Blackwood

Honestly I started it up, couldn't get it working and dropped it, without significant fixes to the online preview I'll just wait for the physical game.

I like the cut of your jib.

I noticed that there are 11 "1" cards in the deck for the Cragheart, but he only has 10 Stamina on the sheet. Should we get rid of one of the cards in the deck to start with him, or is he supposed to have 11 Stamina?

Tetora, yeah, I'm not happy with the speed either. I don't host it myself, but I need a better hosting plan.

Pablo, a friend of mine was handling the TTS implementation and I don't want to impose on him every time update something or add something. It's much easier for me to just update TTZ.

    14. Tetora on

btw Isaac any plans on putting Forge War on Tabletopia?

    15. Pablo Pizarro Jara on

no love for tabletop simulator? :(

    16. Jesse Nooney on

Good stuff! I actually saw the Cragheart on TTZ last night. I got really excited and tried expressing it to my wife as we went to bed. As one would expect, She used more energy rolling her eyes than verbally responding.

    17. Tetora on

Are you hosting your own website? Never seen such a slow hoster before.

    18. Marty McFly on

Thanks for the preview. The Cragheart will probably be my first choice for a starting character. (And not just because it's my wife's nickname for me.)

    19. Tetora on

:P Told you guys that he'll let the SG count anyway. #GoodGuyIsaac

Can't wait for Mindthief. Got high expectations for him cause it sounds like the class I'd enjoy most.
