A quarter of a very large number
Just when you think the campaign might be slowing down, you all knock out an entire stretch goal in a single day.
We got enchanting yesterday, which is totally great and gives you more ways to sticker-up your game real good. And today we get a new character class!
A whole entirely new way to play the game! Did you know that each character class comes with a miniature (or standee), around 30 ability cards, a player mat with matching sliders, a pad of character sheets, 15 or so specialize attack modifier cards and a set of events specifically tailored to them. And you guys just unlocked all of that in a day!
So who is our new mystery character? Again, I must defer to the spoiler page on this one, as he is not a starting character. (Trust me, though, he's totally cool.)
Did you know I created another spoiler page, too? We have renderings of the minis with stands, for all the characters, but I felt like it would give you guys a better idea of what you'll be getting if I show you the original sculpts that James made from a front and back angle. So, again, if you're into spoilers, you can go check out all those images.
We need some pictures up in here, though, so I'll show you the Tinkerer at least.
Are you going to Grand Con this weekend? Are you already at Grand Con? Cool, because I'll be there too and I'd love to hang out with you! I could show you a demo copy of the game, or we could just hang out and talk about how awesome the new character class is. Or we could talk about something not related to Gloomhaven at all. That would be refreshing.
If you want to find me, I'll be the disheveled guy who looks like he's been answering questions on Kickstarter for the past 3 weeks straight. Or if that doesn't help, you can also get in touch on Facebook or Twitter or a Kickstarter message.
Going to Grand Con also means I'll be a little slower about answering questions and updating things. I'll do my best, but I know all of you will pick up the slack and get all the newcomers' questions answered like pros.
And don't worry, I'll be back in time for the 48 hour rush, hopefully with a definite MSRP in tow.
Also I'll have more stretch goals posted tomorrow. Did I already mention how cool they were? I think I did.
Lastly, Tabletop Zen was being buggy today regarding moving tokens around, but Brendon has fixed the issue, so it should be playable again. Have at it!
