Super element tokens!

Hey residents of Gloomhaven!

I hope you enjoy more stretch goals, because it looks like we just busted up another one. Our growth stayed impressively strong throughout the weekend, and we have been rewarded with 6 wooden tokens for the element tracker. They will be 2 cm in diameter and roughly 3 mm thick.

Behold!

Don't they look awesome? I think they look awesome.

And we've already made significant progress toward the next stretch goal - more fan-made side scenarios. I'm really enjoying reading all the submissions thus far and strongly encourage the rest of you to go out and make a submission of your own. There will be more slots soon, so we need to increase the level of competition up in here.

New stretch goals past the $200,000 mark will be revealed soon. I'm pretty excited about them and I hope you will be too!

Helping out

I will encourage you all once again to continue helping to spread the word about Gloomhaven. I'm not doing any sort of social media stretch goals because I don't want it to feel like an obligation, but know that any sharing you can do will help the project tremendously. Sharing not only gets the word out to friends who might be interested, but it will also increase our visibility on Kicktraq, where a lot of the traffic to the page comes from.

And, as always, any activity on Board Game Geek also helps our visibility there. We've been dropping a bit on the hotness and I'd like to see that trend reversed. Also 2 new images were added recently that you can go thumb if you're into that sort of thing.

I hope this sort of talk isn't annoying anyone. Visibility is just so important to any project, and there is only so much I can do. A lot of it comes down to you guys and your desire to see us keep smashing through stretch goals and making the game better.

One note though. I'd make the blue one more dark (bluish) so that the icon is better to recognize and the same goes for the light grey one.

No... they don't look awesome. They look... AWESOMESAUCE.

      They look great.
Now make me very happy and announce some extra battle goals as the next stretch goal :-)

I like the red the way it is :P Red's a funny colour... So many variations and it can be hard to get right.

Let's go crazy and make it blue! Blue is the hottest flame, right? :P 'xD

As to the brown, I like the brown, but I can see why people might prefer green. Green is a nice colour, too.

They look grate! I also think that earth should be marked with green color. It would just better suits the colors of other elements.
And I must add one more request from my site. Could the fire be more red?

Great looking tokens, I am all for upgrading components, when possible.

    9. Leonce on

As good as I hoped for, they look great!

So, is that first element Ice instead of Water?

Heck, just take the Magic: The Gathering color logos and slap them on the first five and all it a day :)

(Which is probably the thing you're trying hard to avoid)

    11. Federico Leo on

      Those tokens look great!

There will probably be some discussion about the possibility of changing it to green, as we've received this comment before. Not sure where it'll land. It does represent earth, but green is a much more exciting color.

    13. Tetora on

Currently it looks like the leaf represents plant / nature for me. Maybe it's just me though. (sorry for spam >< can't edit my message and add something new.)

    14. Tetora on

Oh the leaf is a little bit misleading then. (imo) How about representing a plant with some leaves?

    15. Ravendas on

I'm fine with brown, as it represents earth. They look a lot nicer than I envisioned!

    16. aron aka jello on

I'd rather green for the earth as well... but that's because green is my favorite color. Other than that, they look very, very nice! Great job Isaac & Josh!

    17. Bruno V. on

If brown is Earth, I think it fits as well. Plus I like that brown :)
I hope they'll look as good in real life!

I work as a Screen Printer and, yes, the new tokens are awesome! :D

    19. Tetora on

Else they're looking beautiful! love it

Wouldn't green fit better for the leaf?
