The Little Game Master is a book about five friends who, when confronted with boredom, are drawn into the world of table top role playing games. They quickly realize the opportunities for fun and adventure that are available in their own minds.
Brad, Gwen, Sam, Aleese, and Zack come together and embark on a journey that is limited only by their own imaginations.
Join our four heroes and their Game Master as they create characters and learn how to traverse the theater of the mind, all the while creating stories and memories that will last a lifetime.
Their game begins in a tavern, filled with all kinds of people ready to mingle - or perhaps request the aid of our heroes.
Adventure waits around every corner, and our new gamers will soon realize they should always be on their guard!
"I love this book and can't wait to share it with my little guy! The art is beautiful and playful, and the poetry is smooth and fun. Kids will love reading this book, and adults may love it even more!"

"I am a mother and DM to a beautiful 10 year-old girl who loves playing her pink and white winged tiefling sorcerer. She watched me play for almost a year before she decided she wanted in on the fun. I'm sure that if she'd seen this book beforehand, she would have wanted to play much sooner."
"I would love to have this kind of book for my kids. It introduces RPG's really well. After reading it, I feel like a group of kids could dive into a game without too much introduction."
Depending on your style, how you like to read books to your kids, and whether or not you like to have all the rewards possible, there are different levels to consider when backing this project! Digital art, personalized character shots, even being written into a future book - all of these options and more are available!
If you would like to purchase additional physical copies of the book, simply select a backer level, and add $12 for every additional copy you would like to receive.
When the campaign is complete, you will receive a survey detailing your order.
Our stretch goals are to enhance the physical copies of the book. So let's keep sharing and supporting the project!

Shipping for this project is going to be challenging. I want to show my gratitude to EVERYONE that supports The Little Game Master and places an order for a physical copy of the book.
Shipping in the U.S. for physical copy backers will be FREE.
Unfortunately, due to the climbing rates of International shipping through the United States Post Office, I cannot offer this to my international backers without cutting into the funds that will be used to produce the actual product.
Therefore, Shipping costs to Canada and Mexico has been averaged out to $15.
Shipping costs to All Other International Destinations has been averaged to $20.
Randall Hampton is a graphic artist, husband, father of three, and fan of most nerd culture. When he is not spending time with family and friends, Randall enjoys reading, music, and playing and running table top games.
Risks and challenges
The major risk associated with this project is related to the bonus materials you may receive based on your backer level. I plan to send bookmarks and smaller individual illustrations with the physical copy of the book. The larger group shots, however, will take a bit longer to complete, and will thus be sent separately. The specialization of characters and the level of detail required to complete some pieces may cause the larger images to take longer than expected. These specialized illustrations are contingent on the contributor providing descriptions and/or pictures of relevant subjects.
My printer is a respected company and can deliver print runs in an expedient manner. That being said, problems with shipping, some delays, acts of God or interference from Cthulu are sometimes inevitable.
The book is completed and ready for print. So you do not have to worry about me completing a manuscript, or laying out art. There is also a draft of the second book in the series already completed. I hope this shows you the level of commitment I have in this series, and how much I want to bring it to you and your families.
My goal is to deliver a product that you will treasure. Based on the success of this campaign, I would love to continue this story, and tell more tales from around the table top. Your support will help to build that world of imagination.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
