About this project
D.A.Bishop's STRANGER was first published online in 2010 as a drawing outlet for author David Bishop. With smart storytelling, deep characters and a rotating ensemble setting, this small web comic immediately grew in popularity. It now spans 5 full issues of incredible content and compelling characters set against the inevitable zombie apocalypse.
The collection that you are pledging to support today is a 128 page book including all 5 previously released issues, the 2-page Interlude comic, PLUS an exclusive 5 page preview of Issue 6! The dynamic black and white artwork mixed with full color custom covers makes this collection extra special for all STRANGER fans, as well as general fans of the zombie comic genre!

But wait, there's more! This collection comes with pinup artwork by incredible talents and an exclusive cover to this volume (pictured above!) that is a collaborative project between three different creators - concept created by David Bishop, illustrated by fan favorite Adam Gorham, colored and designed by Andy Stanleigh!
The STRANGER Collection campaign will run for 30 days, ending mid-July. 2 weeks later we'll send the 128 page book to print, with your copy of the book + your backer rewards available at the end of August!
$9500 (+$2000 above the goal) | For this amazing goal the first 100 backers who are slated to receive the 128 page book as part of their reward selection will receive - FOR FREE - a set of 5 Stranger postage stamps custom made by Canada Post!
Risks and challenges
The inherent risk of running a campaign for this type of subject is tempting fate into fast-tracking the zombie apocalypse. If that happens, we cannot guarantee the print shop and warehouse where the books will be produced won't be turned into a safe haven for survivors, thus being forced into shutting down their production lines. In the same vein, we will not be held responsible if the delivery person who brings you your book and/or backer rewards eats your brains while you sign for the package.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
