What the...that’s right, fuck! That’s what Weapons of Mass Seduction is all about!
Weapons of Mass Seduction plays like an indecent version of 'Would you rather?' in which you win points by guessing whether your opponent prefers favors like "Ask another couple if you can watch them have sex." or "Whip opponent with riding crop." The rules will never tell you to do what's written on the cards, that's up to you.
The game comes with 200 cards written by us, couples we know, porn stars at Randy Blue productions, FetLife users, MENSA members, Comic-con goers, our friends at Chicago Queer Tech, Fleshlight CamStar Natalie Star, and strangers on Tinder that Kaitlin performed unsolicited research on.
We made Weapons of Mass Seduction for Valentine's Day 2013 and have been messing around with the favors and rules ever since. We think it's pretty great, please check it out and support us!
What's on the cards?
Here's how it works:
Who can play?
All humans over the age of 18. Some cards are specific to male or female anatomy, a few are specific to heterosexual couples, and our friends at Randy Blue productions and Chicago Queer Tech helped us write a Totally Gay Pack that comes with the game.
Sexual experimentation is sensitive and not for everyone. We highly recommend starting Weapons of Mass Seduction with a 'dry run,' where you don't play any favors in real life. It can be fun just to see what your partner wants and you can always decide to do them later.
If we get enough support, we'd love to develop rules for group play, cards exploring more fetishes, a BDSM pack, and an online version that can be played by couples long distance. We'd also like the interior of the box to be redesigned with felt-lined, vacuum-sealed trays, like some LELO boxes that we think are really cool. As we get closer to funding we’ll release specific goals based on how far we've come.
Last year Kaitlin decided to do some field research to help inform the content of our game. She polled strangers on Tinder about what they have and haven’t done, counting as one “vote” every time they swiped right. Ever wonder what percentage of people have received fellatio while operating a motor vehicle? Here’s the results:
How is this being made?
The game is being produced by AdMagic. The photos you see are of our prototypes, and once we have funding we’re ready to pull the trigger and start production.
