Hello Foraging & Feasting Friends and Kicstarter supporters,

While the first day of spring — March 20th marks spring equinox — is upon us, we here in the mid Hudson Valley of New York still have a blanket of snow covering the ground, concealing all of our green allies. It's definitely been a longer and colder winter, increasing our yearning for the milder seasons filled with wild edibles and the fragrance of the plants. Wendy and I are excited to share our activities for the upcoming growing season with you. Please see the list of events below.

Thanks to many of you, we sold out of our first printing of our book Foraging & Feasting: A Field Guide and Wild Food Cookbook in no time! The second printing of our book arrived yesterday from Michigan and is now ready for shipping in time for Spring foraging!

The book has found its way into many wonderful venues and we are grateful to you for helping us do this. Here is a sampling of the outlets: the Smithsonian Museum Gift shops, Anthropolgie, Campmor, Mountain Rose Herbs, Jean's Greens, Morgan Outdoors, numerous botanical garden gifts shops around the US such as New York Botanical Gardens and University of California Botanical Gardens at Berkeley, many independent book sellers including Powell's, various gift, garden and herb shops, the Rubin Museum in NYC (has our cards), food coops, kitchen/foodie shops, ABC Carpet and Home, and many more!!!

Keep us in mind, if you see a place where our book would be appreciated, please let us know.

We would also like to see our book in as many libraries and schools as possible and we ask you to connect us to them. Please let them know we can offer a price discount, if needed.

We hope you can join us at one or more of these upcoming events:
