Foraging & Feasting Went to the Printer!!!

Dear All of Our Enthusiastic Backers,

We can hardly believe we are writing these words: Our book Foraging & Feasting is at the printer!!!

Please celebrate this moment with us. We feel a great sense of release and sweetness in completing this project that we began diligently working on more than three years ago.

We should receive the books from the printer in 4–6 weeks. Shortly after that you will receive your copies.

For those that can make it to our neck of the woods, we will host a Foraging & Feasting book release party in early July; date, time, and location to be announced. Come celebrate and sip herbal beverages and nibble wild tasting as we present you with your first edition signed copy of the book.

At the moment we continue to work on the Botanical/Foraging note cards and the limited edition 12 x 16 inch giclee prints of the Plant Identification Pages printed on acid freewater color paper with archival inks.

Book detail updates: The book contains 240 pages rather than the 208 pages we proposed in the Kickstarter description. The Plant Identification Pages: Plant Maps and the Charts are being printed on 100# highly opaque paper and the rest of the book is being printed on 70# paper. We think you will enjoy the customized end-pages featuring lovely field garlic.

We hope you like the book cover. We love it. You can see it at the bottom of this text in three different ways.

We will be following up soon with delivery dates and with getting your shipping information. Thanks for your support and patience!

Be well,

Dina and Wendy

P.S. We are constantly asked if Foraging & Feasting is still available for pre-order. The answer is yes. Folks can order books directly from us at our website. Once the book is in print we hope you will help us move it into the world by asking your favorite book stores, herb shops, health food stores, nature centers, etc. to carry our book. We thank you!

We are thrilled that you all love the cover. It will be a printed hardcover, right on the cover and not a dust jacket. Much easier to carry around as we are sure you will want to do!

    3. Stephanie Lauren Hancock on

I am pretty pumped up about this!

    4. Timothy Geary

Omg. I absolutely love the cover. The original was good, but THIS one is just amazing! :D Thank you both SO much for your hard work. I can't wait to go out and forage with my friends. :)

And Keith's question is a very good one. Is this art on the physical cover, or is it a dust cover?

    5. Keith on

Great news. I do like this version of the cover over the original.

As the book is hard cover, is this the actual cover of the book or a dust cover?
