Album Release party on February 1st!/ Your loot is on it's way!

Dear friends and supporters,

You deserve a metal for your patience!  It has been a long process over here, getting the finishing touches put on this baby, but it is finally time!!!!

The album will be officially released online (Itunes, Amazon etc.) on January 29th, and we'll be celebrating this at the Digital Album Release Party at Union Hall on Friday, February 1st!

I'd like to also tell you, there's not a day has gone by since June that I didn't think about your support, and the fact that I owe you all sorts of stuff!  I know you've all been like, "Where is my damn tote bag?" or whatever it was you pledged to get!  ;)  I'm happy to say, we're at the finish line.  The album art is done (see below!), the tote bag design is close, and I'll be emailing you to get your info so I can send you the download codes and all your loot!

Non-kickstarter fans who wants to get their hands on a download can pre-order it here!!  So feel free to spread the word!

I'm so excited to celebrate with you, I couldn't have made this happen without your support!

Have no fear, I have not forgotten you!

Dear friends and supporters,

Have no fear, I have not forgotten you!  I'm writing you here from Jacksonville Florida, with what is definitely, admittedly, a long overdue update!

It's been an incredible summer! I've played so many shows to so many great people in the following places:

Eugene, Oregon
Portland, Oregon
San Francisco, California
Los Angeles, California
Brooklyn, NY
Berlin, Germany
Jacksonville, Florida
Savannah, Georgia

Thank you so much to all who have come out and shown your support. It has been wonderful to see/meet you all! Northeast peeps, (Philli, DC, Boston, Providence etc.) I haven't forgotten you either. The tour continues. I will see you in the Fall!

But for now, tonight, I'll be playing at The Floridian in St. Augustine, Florida, at 10pm, and then I'll head back up to Brooklyn on Tuesday to get back to work on the album!

Speaking of which, perhaps the most exciting news I have to share is that (thanks to you!) the album has been mixed and mastered!   Woohoo!!!  Paul Gold, of Salt Mastering in Brooklyn, worked his magic when I stopped through Brooklyn in late July.  So the album will be ready to go as soon as the last missing link is finished, namely, the ALBUM ART.  And once that's set, you'll be hearing from me as to when the release date will be. So stay tuned!

In the meantime, while you're waiting patiently for your rewards, I wanted to let you know that you can enjoy a couple of the new songs on youtube!

This live version of "The Story is too Short," is by Alison Kobayashi, the starlette who made my Kickstarter video.

This video of the song, "Boats and Buoys," was made last summer by the incredible David Felix Sutcliffe and it gives you a little glimpse of what it was like in the studio.

And here is a link to me singing "Walk Along John," live at The Underbelly last Monday in Jacksonville.

Thank you again for being amazing! I'll be in touch again soon.

Rooftop Show this Saturday, June 23rd. Come!

Thank you for being a friend!

On this, the day after my Kickstarter has officially successfully ended, I really can't thank all of you enough for helping me to not only reach, but surpass my goal!!!!  I'll have you know, I'm hauling my ass to the studio tomorrow to finish up this album for ya'll!

In the meantime, please accept my gratitude with this video, the Golden Girls theme song, "Thank you for being a friend."

And as you sing along to every word (don't tell me you won't) know that my album is going to sound nothing like that song.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
