IAMA Theatre Company needs your support to produce our 2013-2014 season!
Since 2007, IAMA has been producing unique new works, introducing Los Angeles to emerging contemporary American theatre artists. Throughout our brief history, IAMA has produced work that is not only relevant to a younger generation but also accessible and affordable to a broad audience. And now we need some help as we spread our wings and (attempt to) enter the national theatre conversation.
We have recently announced our 2013-2014 season and fundraising goal – we must raise $30,000 by the middle of October in order to re-mount IAMA's World Premiere productions of Christian Durso's SHINER and Louise Munson's DO LIKE THE KIDS DO opening December 5th, 2013 in New York City. Following our New York run, IAMA returns to Los Angeles to present the LA premiere of Jon Caren's THE RECOMMENDATION, opening February 6, 2014. In the Spring, we will continue the tradition of IAMAFest, an annual new play festival where we aim to work with new collaborators and expand the IAMA Family.
We need some financial love from all you guys in order to pay for the theatre rental, sets, lights, sound, costumes, plane tickets -- it all adds up and anything helps so we can turn the lights on, share these exciting new plays with new audiences and gather supporters who care about a world filled with exciting, innovative and challenging art.
Please consider a TAX DEDUCTIBLE donation at any level to help ensure the development of contemporary American Theatre!
A friendly Kickstarter reminder - we get NOTHING if we aren't fully funded, so EVERY DOLLAR counts!

Risks and challenges
IAMA Theatre Company was founded in Los Angeles in 2007. After 6 successful years as a company, we are ready to expand the scope of our work to a national scale. IAMA intends to produce an exciting, yet carefully calculated season which will grow the company exponentially, but steadily.
We may face obstacles such as seeking out new vendors, sticking to production deadlines while working within a frugal budget, and learning the ropes in a new city. However, this is the beauty of live theater. It's ever changing. And IAMA knows how to adapt.
With your help, this season will be a year of growth, change, and opportunity for young artists to cultivate and share IAMA's collective theatrical voice with audiences in Los Angeles and New York.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
