How Jungle War began-
what you are about to read is a mishmash about my life, who am I and what I do for a living and how all of those things together helped me create a game that in my opinion would be revolutionary, and I'm not saying it because it's mine I promise. Stick with me all the way to the end of this story and you would think so too.
I am a teacher of a class with children who suffer from Attention and Concentration Disorders. Throughout my years of teaching schools across the country, I found myself just sitting on the outside looking in, seeing how my students play online games instead of copying off the board, how they ask Google instead of asking me for help.
At first, I was annoyed and bothered that my role as a teacher was worthless. They are so committed to the computer, just sitting in front of it, scrolling down and being amazed, just enjoying their time. I struggled, I looked for ways of approach, nothing worked, and so one day I just turned the power off! Desperate times call for desperate needs right? Well, folks, I am happy to announce that this way does no good! If you can't beat them just join them. And so I did, I sat down together with my students on a computer and watched them take off, playing trivia games, watching videos, and soaking information in creative ways. And suddenly a little light bulb turned on above my head, their learning is a matter of interest, if they like what they see and hear they will co-operate, they will want to learn and be present.
So I took that little light bulb and started enhancing it, thinking of creative ways of teaching and learning, but old school, from the dinosaur times from when I was a kid.
When I went and told my 50 years old aunt about my idea for a game she asked me if she would be able to download it. Some of you would laugh at this point, but you would also shed a little tear because deep inside we all wish our children lived in the era where there was no technology like today. Well, I wanted to bring those times back around!
So why have I told you all of this? Well, it was all important so you would understand why and how I came up with my fantastic new game of Jungle War.
Jungle War is a game developed by myself and my dear cousin whom recognized with my difficulties in life and enlisted for the cause! Jungle War is a card game, a real game where you can hold the cards in your hands and actually play with each other and feel the vibrations when landing it on the ground and scream WIN.
Our goal was to create a game that is fun, challenging and exciting, and in the jungle exist an animal hierarchy, a king, a food chain, the strong vs. weak; we set our children in a new thrilling world and educating them on it through the one thing they enjoy the most, Play.
Why Animals? We realized that it's not out there; there are games of kings and queens where kids have already lost an interest in, and numbers where they immediately get misplaced. Inside Jungle War we developed three games that enhance your children memory skills. Inside each pack, there are 4 tip cards with the jungle food chain on them. Those tip cards are meant as a guide for the beginning, but with time our players build up their skills and alone they remember the place of each animal, their role.
Jungle War is a game that suits for all, a game for your family and your friends. we want you to be a part of our creation, to make a small change that can grow big!
And that is where we conclude our story of how Jungle War began, and if you liked it and are intrigued, scroll down and find out more!
The Game - Jungle War is a fantastic card playing experience set in a new and exciting world other than ours. Eighteen imaginative and visually engaging jungle animal characters can be found in the Jungle War console and can be played with in three different types of games:
The first: Jungle war-
This is a 2-4 player party game. Each player gets dealt an even stack of cards and a tip card presenting the chain of the jungle to help new players. All players at a synchronized time draw up a card and place in on the ground, the player with the strongest animal wins and takes the lot.
How do you know who wins? Our tip card presents the chain from strongest to weakest.
When is jungle war declared? The actual war begins when two or more players draw up the same animal, once war is declared through a scream of JUNGLE WAR! Each player then has to place three extra cards upside down plus one more open card. The player who drew the strongest animal of them all wins!
Once one player holds all 72 cards, they win the Jungle War!
The second: Jungle Memory-
This is a memory game where you need to match the sequence on the tip card, starting from either strongest or weakest. Playing is very simple - Each person turns over a card at a time, with the goal of turning over the strongest animal or the weakest animal to start a sequence. When a player draws up the correct animal they continue playing for another turn. With each correct card, the player pulls out the card and places it aside in the correct order of the sequence. When one player has all the animals lined up, we have a winner! This memory game is going to activate some areas of your brain responsible for memory acquisition which therefore can help your memory improve.
The third: Jungle series –
Each player is provided with 9 cards, apart from the dealer who receives 10. The first player with 10 cards gets rid of one card and it is the second player’s turn. The second player can either use the disposed card if needed, or pull a new one from the deck of cards. With each turn, each player has to dispose of one card so the amount of cards in their hands remains 9. The basic goal is to form a series of three or four matching cards of the same animal or sequence arranged from strongest to weakest animal. The player who places down all their cards in the same suit is an automatic winner. The rest of the players may continue playing until the last one stands.
The animals were designed with simplicity in mind. Vibrant colors, emphasizing the beauty and uniqueness of each animal. You'll notice each animal has a different facial expression that is significant to where they stand in the food chain.
Amir Malka, co-founder of Jungle War, was a starting designer with great skills and a huge passion for the project. He is responsible for our box design, cards design and video clip. Amir's goals are to honor each animal with a personality of their own, to give players the ability to relate to the game as if they were in the scene…to look in each other's stone cold eyes during serious times and to laugh out loud when coming across a Scaredy Cat, and for Jungle War to be a game that adults and kids of all ages would be able to enjoy playing together.
Video editing and extra features were done by co-founder Gal Avi Azugi and Ukrainian animation specialists Dmytro Korolkov. Their goal was to waken the jungle and carry away our audience by choosing the right sound, the right background, the right images, and the right colors.
And last but not least, our editor Bar Toledano, whose goal was to make the game come to life through his illustrations. She worked for hours each day drawing, researching and gathering information about each animal.
Jungle War plays up to 4 players and all components arrive in a reasonable 12" x 10" x 2" package. Here's what comes in the box:
● 72 cards featuring 18 Jungle War animals in 4 different colors (Blue, Yellow, Red & Green).
● 4 over-sized cards featuring the Jungle War sequence from strongest animal to weakest. These cards are designed to help players understand the rules of Jungle War, which animal would win over the other in the Jungle War chain.
● An instruction booklet with in-depth details and illustrations for each game. Our instruction booklet also contains additional information and facts about each animal featured in the game…their strengths and weaknesses in the jungle, who they can overcome, who can overcome them.

Risks and challenges
Looking at our project, we don't see any risks possible.
Jungle war is a project we've been working on since September 2017. It is an idea developed inside our family sealed walls.
We initially worked on card designs and illustrations, printed prototypes that we have been using for play testing and demos.
We have already found a manufacture company and all overall cost of production is worked out.
All outside sketch artists and animation editors used in this project have been paid for.
We continuously working on some ideas and concepts for future expansions, once unlocked we will start working on them from day one!
All we need is your support to unlock all our goals and bring Jungle War to life.
