About

Magical incantations are such a central part of magic and paganism in general, it's strange how few of them are well-written. Truly well-written poetry can make an interesting ritual a moving one, an ordinary spell into a life changing one. It's not as hard to write good poetry as you might think; this handbook will help you with some of the basics. Included among the topics are rhyme, assonance, meter, and even performance techniques. Unlike other handbooks for poetry writing, this one is geared specifically to those who wish to create incantations, spells, and prayers for their own personal magical use, or for use in public or semipublic rituals.

This project is a 8000 word pamphlet. Once funded it'll become available for free download on my website http://pomomagic.wordpress.com/ If you donate $5.00 or more, I will include your name in the acknowledgement at the beginning of the pamphlet. If you donate $20.00 or more, I will send you a signed, printed chapbook of the article. Although I imagine this project as a supplement to my second book, Magic Power Language Symbol, it certainly stands alone.
