A toy line unlike anything else, each monster is based on a real experience and includes a written account!

I'd be interested in a Sepia version. Have you looked more into setting up an add-on system? Ideally, I'd like a Glow Mothman and a Sepia Jersey Devil to add to the regular set of 4 that I have pledged.
Don't wait too late to show it, we gotta get this to succeed. These are the cryptids I have been waiting for for years.
And we do have a retail variant already planned and I will be showing it toward the end of the campaign!
Thank you all for writing, I will try and answer your questions
In terms of low cost... you are correct...the molds are most costly so producing variations is far more possible than unique figures or accessories. The glow is most expensive out of all the materials, whereas the sepia is less costly because we have the material and dyes from the regular painted versions (most of the browns and bone colors will come from the jersey devil figure setup) and our first 1000 or so figures will be solid color casts and detail painted by myself and a small art staff in my studio here. So no spray operations as of yet. Once we hit a few thousand units, the figures will need to go overseas and will be painted in the factory prior to packing. Right now any colored variants will be simpler to add than, let's say a clear cast version. And so you all know, I am leaning towards the Sepia being "Kickstarter" only, and only making 50 of each monster.
I know we can do it!
From my little experience in mfg, most of this cost is in making the dies. Everything else is minor to this. Glow and transparent will probably be the most cost effective as the paint apps will start to drive cost.
I kind of have a concern that any variants, the glow or the sepia, will complicate and impede the completion of initial line. Different paint and finish schemes add expense, or is that not so? With only 15 days to go, we are still $15000 off target! If this is not reached this time around, and I hate even suggesting this, perhaps only producing the most popular figures in the line will cut costs to a more reachable target. Do not worry.-No one is jumping ship yet. I still believe this project can work.
Absolutely!, I think the legends community is going to go crazy for these, I have :) The Sepia color gives that earthy blend in with woods type of feeling..totally creepy! (thats a good thing)
Taking from the success of other Kickstarter Campaigns, make this and other variants a retailer exclusive. If they donate $xxxx amount, you'll get your own exclusive color. Then solicit this to online retailers and other retailers. Say, you donate $1000 to $1500, you get 100 units in clear green or some such. Just a suggestion.
