We wrapped the feature film Dear God No! (a.k.a. The Bigfoot Massacre) in November. Shot on Fuji Super 16mm using Arri cameras over 14 days in various North Georgia locations the film is a 70's drive-in throwback exploitation / action / horror hybrid. We tried to create more of a lost film than a straight forward homage. I felt it was essential to shoot on film instead of a HD Digital format so we could accurately capture the look of a 70's grindhouse style film without having to add gimicky computer generated scratches and "film look" filters. We used 70's equipment, practical effects and real stunts during filming. There are no computer generated effects. All our blood, monsters, blanks and explosions are real.

The movie has been shot! We are looking for 6,000.00 to help with an HD Telecine* transfer of the developed film so we can start editing. We have all our post production equipment and personnel. We just need your help with the transfer.

We reached our goal!!! Thank you to all our wonderful supporters. You guys are fast! Kickstarter won't let us end the fund drive early, so any additional money raised will be used for festival entry fees and advertising. All rewards still apply. Thanks again for flying the middle finger at Hollywood by resurrecting drive-in Sin-ema!

* Telecine (pronounced /ˈtɛləsɪni/ or /ˌtɛləˈsɪniː/) is the process of transferring motion picture film into video form. Telecine enables a motion picture, captured originally on film, to be viewed with standard video equipment, such as televisions, video cassette decks or computers. This allows producers and distributors working in film to release their products on video and allows producers to use video production equipment to complete their film projects.

SYNOPSIS:
Grab some popcorn, gas up the jalopy and grab your favorite girl. Big World Pictures presents the retro Bikers vs. Bigfoot feature film DEAR GOD NO! A thrill ride here to save cinema by delivering all the carnival fun of a 1970’s drive-in movie. On the run from bikini clad machine gun fire, a group of outlaw bikers attempt to seek refuge in a mountain cabin only to fall victim to a crazed scientist and his hunchback assistant performing hideous experiments more deranged than the human mind can handle. What is lurking in the woods making escape impossible? Could it be the legendary… BIGFOOT!
