Sorry I waited so long to contribute John. I really hope you guys get funded some way or another. You've got such a cool product!

Hey Nick! Thanks, and love the way you're thinking. We are a bit limited by Kickstarter's guidelines, which unfortunately don't allow multiples of an item to be offered in a reward. Our crew is still happy to help you out with your request, so we'll send over a message shortly.

Hey guys, it's great you found a way to reduce costs! You should add a pledge for 2 beat makers, and 2 hoodies for something like $375 and maybe some other bigger combo packs for multiple people, too. There are no ways for one person to buy more than one combo, at least when I try.

You got it! Phone sensors were a no-go early on in the project because we didn't want to mount a phone to a board. The Jalapeno uses Bluetooth 2.1+EDR for streaming data (something we can't do with BLE). Through multiple iterations, we have gotten the Jalapeno to work using just a gyroscope for motion sensing. Hopefully that helps! Let us know if you have any other Qs!

Cool. I was also curious. What's actually in the device? Accelerometer, gyroscope, bluetooth? I assume you're not using the iPhone sensors directly because you don't want to stick it to a board? Or am I missing something?

Thanks for the props @Tristan! We are STOKED to have your support! While we have not made any plans to release an API at this time, if the Jalapeno is successfully funded and there is interest from our backers, we would definitely consider it!

Also, in its current state, the raw data is logged and saved so that any farmers who dig that kinda stuff -- like myself -- can do what we do with all those numbers! Let us know if you have any other questions!

Great project. Will you offer a developer API to get access to the data?

The 3 of you have worked so hard to bring The Jalapeno to life. It is truly a creative, innovative and fun product. If you are into action sports then I urge you to buy one and bring your ride to the next level. Good luck Beat Farm crew. You guys are the best.

Love what you guys are doing! This is awesome! To all other backers, buy this product. I tried it out and it changed my whole skiing experience. I can't wait to use it all the time.
