The Replay supports over 2 dozen systems out of the box. Here's just a few: Sega Game Gear, Genesis, & Master System; Nintendo Original (NES), Super(SNES), 64 (N64), & Game Boy. Plus, it plays PC classics like the Commodore, Apple, and Spectrum. And with our open system users can add and even share additional emulators.
Each system not only comes with over 100 classic games, but it also includes Pinball machines, Casino and slot games (these can be removed), and many apps to get the most out of your Replay.
Our exclusive Retro-Reload Google Safe Search takes the worry out of finding new games. Whether it's commercial sites like Steam Powered, Good Old Gamer, or online libraries like the Internet Archive, we make sure your searches are always family-safe, and virus free.
With our Retro Streaming Accelerator, streaming games is as simple as clicking a link. In fact, there's over 10,000 free games to stream on the Internet Archive alone--all of which play full-screen and full-speed, thanks to our exclusive streaming technology.

Start digging around your closet or garage for those old games, because it's simple to add your cartridge titles to your Replay. Simply take a photo, and our Cartridge Analysis & Recognition Tool (CART) will identify and add it to your list of titles, it's that easy. It works with iPhone, Android, Kindle, Mac, PC—anything with a web browser and camera.
The controller included with the Replay DX automatically connects when turned on, so you never have to worry about connecting your controller, plus it functions as a mouse and keyboard. If you want to use your own controller or add more players (up to 4) the Dreamcade Replay recognizes over 100 gamepads.
Our joystick configurator not only lets you reconfigure your gamepad to suit your preferences, but it also allows you to add new controllers with ease. With the Replay there's never any rebooting required; new controllers are automatically recognized and ready to play within seconds.
Dream Arcades continuously updates and improves the software used on full-sized arcades. You'll have access to the same exact software used on those arcades. Best of all, we are always working on adding new emulators and other features to the Replay. You do have the option to opt-out of these free upgrades.

Because the Replay runs Windows 10, it supports thousands of apps and programs. Plus, the Replay comes with dozens of the most useful ones, like: Windows Store, Netflix, Amazon Video, and YouTube (we are not affiliated with these companies).
When it comes to emulation, CPU power is everything. Running quad-cores at over 2.2GHz turbo means the Replay can not only handle emulators, but also more recent titles like Street Fighter 4 and Counter-Strike. Our open system allows you to expand and hack to your heart's content.
The system comes with an Intel Processor, 4GB RAM, Bluetooth, wireless and Ethernet networking, 32GB storage, USB 2.0 & 3.0, HDMI, VGA, and the ability to expand with up to 3 additional storage devices.
Don't compare the Replay to a Raspberry Pi. Pi based machines run at half the speed, and can't run as many emulators--like N64, or Playstation--without lots of stuttering. Additionally, they run freeware, limited front-ends. Our front-end has been designed from the ground up for ease-of-use and powerful customization.

Risks and challenges
Michael Ware started out as a guy in a garage, and over the past fourteen years, we've grown a cutting-edge company with a 5,000 square-foot facility, complete with dedicated support, programming, and engineering staff. Michael has been working with overseas manufactures for over eight years and knows the ins-and-outs of manufacturing and importing. While there is risk with any project, we have the experience, to make the Replay a reality.
While prototypes are being sent out to the media and bloggers, the Replay is not yet a complete product.
The layout of one of the PCB’s may need to be changed to accommodate the molds. But the most critical and time consuming part— the initial design—is complete. We are currently beta testing software and hardware.
Like any project, one of the biggest risks is unexpected delays. Overseas manufacturing works very differently than in the US, and delays are sometimes unavoidable. We’ve lined up multiple manufactures to minimize the impact of any delays and are committed to keeping candid communication on our progress with backers.
While we’re experienced at cost forecasting, there’s always a chance that some features might be modified or excluded. The online social experience still has to be finalized.
Overseas orders could face issues or additional costs in local customs. Dreamcade llc has the experience to properly fill-out customs forms, but we cannot guarantee there won't be customs delays. We recommend buyers hire a customs broker to resolve any local customs issues, which we can not be liable for. In the event of cancellation of this project, Dreamcade, llc will refund 100% of all fees collected, whenever possible.
Software licensing has been negotiated but not yet signed for game packs. Titles may change.
