I still play the game once in a while.
Still a great game.
To bad it was created by not such a great person...
Anyone still plays this game?
Hoping to hear more about D-Day Dice soon now the lawsuits are over.
Does Valley Games still sell games out there???
It would be a good day for it.
It's a shame there is no new content being released for this game. I may have to play it tonight. By now I was really hoping another expansion or two would be released.
It's funny to watch how KS has evolved over the years since I back this project. This is the first project made me jump the gun, mostly due to its "overbonus" stretch goals which I am not complaining about. I kinda use how much this project delays to gauge when my other KS projects should come in (5 months) as a standard now.
I do. I really like it. It's a shame there probably isn't any more stuff coming in my LFL soon/ever.
Anyone still play this game? I sold my KS version on ebay and got a retail version from trading but haven't touch it since.
Rik is a liar and a thief. For the line for lifers, I'd honestly be shocked if you get anything else. But, at least you got something, I'm still waiting on anything for AIYP. He just took our money and ran.
Don't think it's going to happen. As a line for lifer as well, I was at least hoping for the card that allows me to use that other game that was promised.
As a Line for Lifer I hope we can eventually get some expansions for this.
I wonder what's the next game this company gonna put out on kickstarter ???
I'd like to know what the next D-Day Dice product I'm going to receive is, and when. Thank you.
Well, I just wanted to point folks who are interested in "D-Day" to a very interesting Kick Starter Project.
Hit my avatar and go see a card-driven combination of boardgame and miniatures, with no charts, no dice, and no complicated rules. Oh-- and most of the Soldiers you would get are literally "unique." Check it out!
As a quad line for life customer I'm growing more and more concerned that Valley Games will not be able to publish the promised expansions for D-Day Dice. All of the this because of the multiple lawsuits filed against the company. One of these already having a sentence that orders them to pay $127,305.33 to the plaintiff. What can you do to reassure me?
Give an indie game designer some love?
Just wanted to drop a note that my copy showed up in Calgary last week and is in excellent shape - great job guys!
D-Day Dice arrived in the Philippines. Only problem was that my cop of the base game was dented by the travel over the Pacific :(
D-Day arrived @ Bali 2 days ago. Now, still amazed with so much rewards in the package. Thank You !!!!
Just wanted to say thank you for this amazing game. There was SO MUCH STUFF in that box! I've played five games of solitaire so far and been quite impressed. Really can't wait to try it out with the gang. I'd be blown away if this doesn't become a hit for years to come. Thanks!
Wouldn't you know it, arrived in Adelaide South Australia today - beaten by a Kiwi but I don't care the whole package is simply amazing so we're all winners here - Thanks to Rik and his team!
received mine today in Cairns, Australia. very excited by amount of goodies in my carton. very disappointed though at complete lack of protective packaging - my tin is dented :(
D-Day General packs arrived today, Melbourne Australia
Good news! Arrived in Taiwan on 7/28 by USPS, any Asian supporters around this area should be getting theirs soon!
DDay dice arrived today in Vancouver Canada. Can't wait to crack it open. Thx
John - Mine came though parcelforce
Can any UK backers tell me who the UK carrier is? I'm on holiday and the tracking info says delivered. Is it Parcelforce?
Canadian Officer. Got mine on the 26th, just got to the internet yesterday post-move, so that was cutting it close ;)
NZ? What? Anyone in Oz got theirs yet? I haven't even seen an email to say they have shipped :(
D-Day dice has reached the shores of New Zealand.
ENLISTED level, Canada. Just received mine yesterday and *wow.* For those getting grumbly about when theirs will arrive, sit tight. Totally worth it.
i just receive my D DAY DICE game yesterday with all the amazing expansions and clever Goodies this is quite a fantastic deal , i tip my hat to Valley Games and Emmanuel Aquin ,this is brilliant games , the art work and all the component are awesome, and Valley games knows how to be generous , with all the expensions i will have so many ,oh so many , trilling games evenings , BRAVO!!! this is terrefic1111
My troops arrived a couple of days ago, and I was so excited to see all the goodies.
The game is a blast :) brought it out to game day today and got it played 3 times. Can't wait to get some more plays it. Everyone commented how cool the individual bags (of dice) were. Thank you guys for this awesome project!!
I just want to reiterate that this is a great game! I have played over 6 campaigns now and am no won the 4th map and fellow hard core gamers have loved the game. The cooperative play really works and it is exciting to figure out the strategy to accomplish a map. Lots of fun and the kickstarter incentives offer a ton of great game play variations. This game can be as hard or easy as you want it to be. A+
@Paul Hopkins, I believe that the speckled dice are the "bloody dice" mentioned especially as there is a non speckled set of those dice in the main game box.
Received my "officer" level package today (S.Ontario) - no customs either :D I was amazed by the size of the box, wasn't expecting that. All packed perfectly - looks amazing! You guys really did an amazing job. I'm thrilled at the result :)
Can't wait to play a game!
Just got my OFFICER package through (UK) with no customs to pay which was fantastic news.
There's an entry on the checklist for "Bloody Dice", can anyone refresh my memory what these were? I have 24 speckled D-Day Dice and 4 MGF Dice enclosed in plastic bags but no other dice... thanks and great job Rik and everyone else involved with the project the whole package is stunning. This hits the table tonight!!
Got my 'General' 3 copies and had to collect from the neighbour and was quite shocked at the 3 large boxes! even more surprising was the lack of custom duty to pay! Thank you so much for shipping it that way as it is much appreciated.
I am astounded by all there is in there! Will take a very very long time before I get to play with everything in it!
Well done again on a fabulous Kickstarter and if it means anything to you, you were my first ;)
Received my "Enlisted" level in Vancouver, Canada without a tracking number email or notification this morning.
Congrats Rik and your team and thank you! I'm sure your hard work is very much appreciated by many of us backers. Good luck with the game's wide release.
Yay - received 'OFFICER' package today in Uznach, Switzerland. What a box full of joy! Read the rules while enjoying the sun at the pools. Can't wait to try the game out!
Received mine today in Sheffield, UK!
amazing pile of goodies, everything looks outstanding! Great work guys, a wonderful product you have here. Can't wait to get my first game, may try it out using the solo rules tonight once the missus is in bed!
Just got my box of goodies this morning in England so overseas shipments have definitely made it this far. The contents looks great and far in excess of what I originally pledged for or even expected after the funding. The projects delivery date slipped most likely due to being more than 10 times more successful that they had planned for. Most projects have their deadlines slip without being overfunded or with extra bits.
Hang in there folks. I know some are getting a little frustrated, but I just wanted to say that they really did give us value for our money, and that I think the guys really were very generous in giving us all these wonderful extras. I've backed over 50 kickstarter projects and the generosity was nothing like this project.
I've been watching the videos of the unboxing, I'm really humbled by the amount of things they have given us. I'm sure it took a lot of hard work putting everything together, so hang in there. I'm sure our games will be on their way. I'm still in awe at how generous Valley Games and Emmanuel & the team were (the awesome bag, the tonnes of extra dice, all the other awesome components), which I'm sure cost a lot....and being able to award all the pledge levels with so many wonderful components I think really says something. Plus they covered the shipping the those in the States (I hope I got that right)...Even those that backed for $35, you'll be getting an unbelievably amount of awesome things.
So for those still waiting on the games...hang in there :) I think even though the delivery date was delayed, a fair few projects I've backed...I'm still waiting on them.........and I pledged a lot for those projects, but won't get as much awesome rewards as this project.
Our games are on their way, just have faith :)
~ I'm a L4L on the other side of the globe :) ~
Got mine tonight. Has anybody made any tuckboxes for unsleeved cards at the NONCOM level?
Mine arrived in NE today...looks great! Can't wait to get it to the table!
DDD made its beaching landing at New York City on July 19 at 0200, watch out !!! because the attacks are moving toward the Northeastern part of the USA as we speak:
First Game tonight! It was awesome! Wife and brother in law loved it!
My gosh! What a great set of components. Played the game with my son and it is great. The shoulder bag is fabulous. I am amazed at what happened. Anybody that complains about the game or wait time is just looking for an Eeyore award. Thanks to Rik and Valley Games for Xmas in July.
so Happy Thanks so much, everything came out beautifully!!!!
