Following a great turnout for our Kickstarter Live presentation, we are introducing the Hiuni Backpack and Portable Charger as optional add-ons to your pledge. If you would like to add the backpack, charger or both to your current pledge, please review the following steps on how to manage your pledge.

  • Step 1: Visit the project page and be sure to sign in
  • Step 2: Click the “Manage My Pledge” button next to your pledge amount.
  • Step 3: Adjust total pledge amount to the amount that includes the cost of the backpack and/or power bank

For more information on managing your pledge click here.

We enjoyed hosting our first Kickstarter Live app demo and Q&A session. Despite a few technical difficulties, It was great to hear all of the great questions and feedback from all of you.

If you were unable to join us live, feel free to replay the video to learn more about the Hiuni app and what is to come.

The Backpack seems a little expensive relative to the telescope price. Could you provide a little more information as to the advantages of this particular backpack?
Could you also tell us what the expected operational time of the telescope is and give us an idea of the extension of time the battery offers?

I have seen it in other Kickstarters - not all stretch goals are free. They do still add something to the project and more complexity. Frankly, I'm not sure why there is so much focus on stretch goals on Kickstarter as many product (physical) projects struggle to complete and ship at all given the unforeseen complexity by new teams in what it actually takes to manufacture and ship a full product...

I don’t see how a paid for accessory can be considered as a ‘stretch goal’.

Will there be an opportunity to add backpack and charger later, at the time of backerkit or any other last survey? I'd like to see the final product specifications before.

I'm thinking of adding both add-ons to my pledge. Will there be a compartment in the backpack to hold the portable charger and any charging cables? Ideally there might also be a pocket for holding the iPad since it is the controller and view screen

I'm assuming that the entire kit can be loaded into the backpack for easy transit...
