NINJA HIGH SCHOOL: A NEW SEMESTER
When NINJA HIGH SCHOOL first came to being in 1986 I was unsure of its success. When issue #1 was debuted in 1987 it was only planned as a 3 issue run. Upon its release something strange began to happen. Somehow its blend of comedic humor and manga style art seemed to be a hit with readers and thus a 25+ year run with over 400 NINJA HIGH SCHOOL related comics was born. NINJA HIGH SCHOOL helped give birth to the early Western manga industry and opened the door to hundreds of creators who now embrace the manga style. Over the years I have met with hundreds of readers who have told me how much NINJA HIGH SCHOOL meant to them. However, back in 2009
I decided to take a break. Things were changing in the comics industry and I needed to sit back and take stock of things. So I decided to temporarily halt NINJA HIGH SCHOOL and re-evaluate it for a new generation of readers while remaining true to its beginnings.
Thus is born NINJA HIGH SCHOOL V3. In order to understand where V3 is going, it is necessary to see where it came from. Therefore I am collecting the entire NINJA HIGH SCHOOL V2 maxi-series in full color for the first time. It is my hope that you will join me in my endeavor to
bring back NINJA HIGH SCHOOL on a regular basis again. NINJA HIGH SCHOOL #176 brings original story material back to comics. It will bridge the gap between the events of #175 and the new V3. With my co-writer, Steve Ross, we have created a new and exciting take on NINJA HIGH SCHOOL that I promise will be unlike anything you've read so far. Be here as we launch a whole new era of the denizens of Quagmire! It will be a wild ride. I hope you will join me, and I thank you for your support.

Risks and challenges
There are always some risks in self publishing but I am confident that there will very little here. The entire NINJA HIGH SCHOOL V2 series is complete and ready to go while NINJA HIGH SCHOOL #176 is nearly complete. However, there will always be some chance that something may come up but I am prepared to handle them as they arise.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
