A prototype is a preliminary model of something. Projects that offer physical products need to show backers documentation of a working prototype. This gallery features photos, videos, and other visual documentation that will give backers a sense of what’s been accomplished so far and what’s left to do. Though the development process can vary for each project, these are the stages we typically see:

About this project
We're a team of young engineers that love to focus our creative energy in the design of high-end, American-made, aftermarket parts for the cars people love...
And even though we possess the latest, state-of-the-art experience in CAD solid modeling, CAE/CAM systems, reverse laser scanning, additive manufacturing (3D printing), and CNC (computer numerical control) machining, with a name like "turbo boof" we promise we won't take ourselves that seriously... we want to have fun, design amazing parts, and create a unique, sustainable brand.
Our goal is to put our original vacuum/pressure/boost manifold blocks into production as a means to launch the company and raise funds to purchase the 2nd CNC machine that will let us complete the manufacturing process to launch our custom oil caps and fuel caps. Ultimately, the second machine opens up the ability to machine parts that just can't be made without a lathe...
We've already took the plunge and invested in a CNC milling machine, and we need to expand and purchase a CNC lathe to complete the manufacturing process for new and upcoming designs...
At the start, we're going to build a brand known for stylized design, precision manufacturing, and component reliability...
We've spent time tweaking, prototyping, iterating, and optimizing each and every design to ensure form follows function.
Down the line we want to revolutionize the automotive aftermarket performance industry, eventually taking advantage of additivively manufactured metal parts, 5-axis CNC processes, and advanced sensor networks and electronics.
Furthermore, we are committed to keeping the manufacturing processes here in America. We are striving to rebrand what "Made in America" means.
We're so excited to bring this project to life. We had a great time filming, editing, and even recording the "soundtrack." We promise to work as hard as we can to build this brand and deliver the best products for our customers...

The best news is that we can currently deliver on ALL of the fundraising gifts without the CNC lathe. We have the CAD software, the screenprinter, the 3D printers, the CAM software, the tooling, and the CNC mill.
We have the equipment, material, tooling, and processes to honor every single contributing pledge.
As we said, this campaign is not just about raising the capital for the next machine, but to launch and validate the brand. We're ready to start distributing these awesome manifold blocks!
