A Sentimental Journey
To those of you who've contributed to the discussion about the Rare & Royal Conundrum, our thanks - your feedback is crucial, and we appreciate you taking the time and sharing your thoughts. We'll have an update tomorrow, and the unveiling of our new stretch goals (the numbers are in - meaning the numbers from the printer, meaning, again, how much it'll all cost).
We've added a new tier, The Sentimental Journey, at $100. There are only three of these, and honestly, it's one of those ideas that the first time you hear it, you go, okay, that could be cool, and then you go, okay, that could be silly, and then you go, okay, that's pretty much vanity. But clearly that hasn't stopped us. The package is pretty much for the fans of Rick's work and my work and, crucially, our work together, and is a collection of just about everything we've done in print, all in original floppies. The package contains:
- Batman/Huntress: Cry for Blood (six issues)
- The Batman 10-Cent Adventure
- Legends of the Dark Knight 125
- Detective Comics 757 ("Air Time")
- Queen & Country: Declassified III (three issues)
You also get everything to the Inscribed level, including All Digital, All the Time.
The very talented Meredith McClaren's own Kickstarter to fund the first trade of her webcomic, Hinges, has seven days left, and is still shy of its goal. She's just posted an update, in which she's listing new items, amongst them some Hopeless-Savages goodies (which is a wonderful comic written by my wife, Jennifer Van Meter, and no I'm not biased and would you like to step outside?) and - more to the point - a beautiful piece she's done of Lady Sabre herself. You can find that image below, too.
And that's it for now. As ever, thank you so much to all of you who have given, who have spread the word. Remember, new Stretch Goal tomorrow!
