Horseshoes & Hand Grenades is reaching out for support in hopes of recording a third full-length album. The donations will aid us with the costs of studio time and album production. The new album will be comprised solely of original music and we hope that it will reflect the dedication and work that we have put into our music in the year since our last recording session. We believe in creating something that is familiar, yet fresh to the ears of those fond of American folk music. We've got something to say and we would love to tell you all about it. The time-honored tradition of the family of bluegrass is what inspires us and keeps us doing what we love. In the words of Bill Monroe, "Bluegrass has brought more people together and made more friends than any music in the world."

Risks and challenges
The risk associated with this project is very minimal. From an artistic standpoint, we face the risk of our music not being conveyed to the listener in the honest and true fashion that we believe in. However, we feel that we have taken steps to minimize that risk by working with a sound engineer who has been road-tested and we believe in and trust. Lastly, because of the nature of recording and production, we run the risk of not being able to finish the record as quickly as we had hoped. Again, that risk has been minimized by creating a realistic timeline for the creation of the album.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
