Every journey has its end, but luckily for us this is only the beginning. The end of the SRC Kickstarter just minutes away signals the beginning of development proper. It’s now time for the team here at SeaCliff Interactive to buckle down and begin implementing and tuning the features we’re all looking forward to seeing in SRC.

You’ll still be hearing from us regularly in the form of content updates, new playable builds, reveals, and feedback sessions. We’re EXTREMELY excited to start our Senate voting process which will let you, our generous backers, determine which features go into the game first. We’re hoping to recreate some of the cool planning and intrigue that occurred in the real Roman Senate so long ago.

We’re also working on getting the SRC forums set up on our website so everyone can begin pitching and discussing the various planned features.

If you haven’t already, please take a minute and vote for SRC on Steam Greenlight.

Here’s what we’re working on now:

  • Steam Greenlight -getting the game on Steam
  • Paypal options for post-KS backers
  • Working on pre-Alpha demo
  • Senate Session #1

Finally, we want let everyone know just how thankful and humbled we are by your support. Running this Kickstarter has been a wild ride and it has certainly had its ups and downs. But thanks to every single backer here, the ups have VASTLY outnumbered the downs and we’re now ready to begin development full bore.

Your support drives us to create the best game we can and we promise to do just that. We’ll be in touch.

Luke - The game primarily is offered as a DRM free copy. There is an option to change that to a Steam copy, so yes it is up to you to accept that which you like better.

Heard about this on Ctrl alt del (cad-comic.com) and fell in love with this =). I look forward to achieving 100% on SRC

For those who don't want a DRM encumbered Steam copy will their be a standalone version? Really looking forward to this game.

I like that concept, but I think the beards need more work.

Seriously, well done to everyone, and I'm excited to see where this goes!
