Human Food is the world's first Daily Nutrition Bar designed specifically for people on a plant based diet, but that's good for anybody. It's Paleo, prebiotic, high in antioxidants, contains no gluten, no grains and no added sugar. It's made of 100% organic wholefoods and organic extracts, selected and balanced for optimal taste and bio-availability.
Human Food is not 100% of what you need each day but it contains 100% of the recommended intake (RI) of Vitamin B12 and 50% of the Iron, Zinc, Calcium, Vitamin D and Omega 3, plus over 12g of protein, as well as whole daily amounts of between 4 functional ingredients.

HUMAN FOOD DEVELOPMENT
"Humans need food that promotes and protects their health, but they also want their food to taste good. Human Food meets both demands: it's nutritious as well as delicious, giving you what you need and what you want with every bite." - Dan Reid - leading authority on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) / best selling author of 'The Tao of Detox' and 'The Tao of Health Sex and Longevity'.
VITAMINS AND MINERALS
When you eat whole foods you're not consuming single nutrients but a whole range of vitamins, minerals, co-factors and enzymes which combined enable optimal use by the body. Without these additional compounds, synthetic nutrients may not be used by the body in the same way as their natural counterparts.
All of the Vitamins and minerals in Human food come from organic plants, which means they are complex and in their most bio-available forms.
"It is a wonderful way to get your nutrients and feeling full quickly without taking any supplement. Only the good stuff!" - Anett Velsberg - renowned food photographer and stylist who has built up a following of over a quarter of a million people on Instagram.
One of the biggest challenges with Human Food's development has been making something which still tastes good 5 days a week, even after a year. The way we achieved this is by selecting and balancing over 30 organic whole foods to create a taste so complex you never get bored of it, and so smooth you know it's delicious but can't quiet say what the flavor is. This is so Human Food stays enjoyable everyday and so you can make own flavours by adding different fruit to smoothies.

We tried over 20 different organic T shirts, looking for just the right weight and cut for a favorite T shirt. It's strong but not too heavy, feels nice and soft and is cut in the classic 80's style - not too tight and not too long. The T shirts are 100% organic cotton and the ink is DayGlo.
T shirts are black or white and printed in the color of chosen bar, or in triple color (with 3 month, 1 year and 6 year packages). And the sweatshirts are printed with glow-in-the-dark ink.
Human Food costs £3.30 per Daily Nutrition Bar. It costs more than a snack bar and less than lunch. Unlike a snack bar or a sandwich, Human Food contains a solid nutritional base on which to easily complete an organic, plant based diet that includes whole daily amounts of functional ingredients. We spent 4 years developing Human Food, with help from world leading health experts, researching, sourcing, trialing and refining, before we worked out costs.
We made Human Food as good as possible and then worked out a fair price, which is less than the high street cost of the ingredients in it.
"I work in London, where a proper breakfast or lunch is at least £7. Human Food is half the cost and the most nutritious thing I eat all day." - Dan Papps - manager of Imprint Faber Social at leading independent publishing house Faber & Faber.
Human Food is only available by monthly subscription. This is so we can keep price to a minimum by cutting out the retailer. The first intake is limited to 2000 subscribers and future intakes will also be limited to ensure that we grow at a steady, healthy rate without any risk to standards.
The bars come in packs of 5. So you can split orders up between colors and get 1, 2 or 3 colors each month. And on the Human Food site managing subscriptions will be easy. It will be simple to change bar color, change to a temporary delivery address, or pause, stop or reassign subscriptions easily, straight away and without any penalty.
Each month we'll send subscribers 20 bars in their chosen colors plus the latest edition of the Human Food Community News Letter containing; expert advice, smoothie recipes, updates on the latest health research, original art, stretching and breathing exercises, as well as community news and support.

"In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the keys to health and longevity may be summed up in two words: Balance and Harmony. Balance means dynamic balance between the two polar forces of Yin and Yang. These are the harmonic forces that make the world go round and allow your vital organs to hum in tune to the song of life. Human Food is formulated to achieve balance and harmony in the vital functions of the human body and thereby promote health and longevity.” Dan Reid - best selling author of 'The Tao of Detox' and 'The Tao of Health Sex and Longevity' / Official Human Food Adviser.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
