Shout Out to Some of Our Backers That Are Fellow Kickstarter hopefuls
Hi Everyone,
We wanted to do a quick update to point you to some members of the Project Awakened community that are also running their own campaigns. Take a moment to check them out and see if it’s something you’d like to back…then take another moment to find someone to pledge to Project Awakened, we have less than 2 days left!! Thanks and best of luck to these fellow Kickstarters!

That was awful nice of you guys to give other projects a shout out. Sure wish some successful Kickstarter projects, like Dreamfall Chapters or something, would extend you guys the same courtesy. Send some of their backers this way...
Whenever you decide to try again, if you decide, I'll be there to pledge my money again! I want you guys to know that. Awakened/Hero is awesome and deserves to come out. I'd rather see this than a hundred more stupid, homogenized shooters!

Glad to see the people who still embrace the old way of thinking are the minority now. No offense meant, just happy to see much nuanced, friendly and community-oriented thinking instead of binary selfish ruthlessness :)

Just like the whole "Kick it Forward" thing might be productive Malcolm and Austin? Showing support for projects on a site where its all about supporting others is counter productive? I guess we should demand these guys to cancel what pledges they've made to other projects because using their own, individual money for other projects might be "counterproductive", hm?
Oh I know! Maybe you guys should take all the money you might of pledged towards other projects on here, demand it gets refunded, and give it to only one project because otherwise it might be "counterproductive".
Succeeding or not, again the entire basis of this site is a community working together to get a product funded. Its called "Crowd funding" for a reason. Having some assclown jumping around going "ONLY ME ONLY ME!" is what is truly most unproductive here. This isn't the first time this game might have to be put on hold, and I'm sure they've said they'll do what they can even if it fails here.
Not every person working on a project on this site has that kind of advantage though.

Those who are complaining "This is counterproductive". It's very unlikely this kickstarter will succeed so why not try to help others? Not everything is about "Me".
Lee Weller on March 4, 2013
It might not be productive to their campaign but I respect them giving something back to other artists/developers
Malcolm Swoboda on March 4, 2013
This was completely counterproductive.

Thank you for the plug team! I'm going to continue to spread the word about this project until the very end!

"Let's plug in 3 other kickstarters to our compaign! That should help reach our goal!"
