With the Character Creator in the initial Beta release, everyone will have access to changing the character in looks and abilities. At launch, even if we don't hit the 800k stretch goal, you will have access to an unsupported Multiplayer through old fashioned ad hoc networking, where you could create whole game modes. For example, you can make one character an overpowered Zombie / Vampire / Alien, and everyone else is powered normal people. Or make a game of Pirates vs Ninjas. You can make whole different game modes just by what kinds of characters you create and what sorts of limits you impose. All of this would be would be possible without having to know any scripting or asset creation tools, it is just from using Create-A-Player.
Beyond this, at the 800k level we will release a version of the editor, allowing you to create new levels, outfits, and abilities. Further down the road, if the community wants it, we will release even more user friendly tools.
