It is a time of turmoil. Heroes and villains have lost everything. Mere mortals remain, waiting for powers to return… that never will.
Now, a girl is the only superpower left—with all the power in the world.
An insidious mind plots a return to the way things were-- no matter the cost.
Loss. Denial. Anger. Bargaining. Grief. Acceptance.
All Fall Down.
More than four years in the making, "All Fall Down" is an original graphic novel conceived and written by Casey Jones, in six chapters. The book was self-funded at first, but the author has reached the limits of his own resources now needs your help to make this story see the light of day.
The script is entirely done. The artwork for the first three chapters is complete, but the last three chapters are still in production.
All of the funds collected from this project will go toward paying the artists who have been working on the book. Once the artwork is complete, there is a publisher already lined up to print and ship the finished graphic novels, aiming for a late-summer release, 2011.
About the Graphic Novel
The graphic novel will present a story told in six chapters, in gorgeous full-color. The artwork from the first three chapters is just brilliant, showcasing the talents of a few new talents in the field. Casey Jones approaches his characters and subject with his own unique voice, but he sometimes works in subtle nods to the great authors of the genre.
The story itself deals with the question of what happens to heroes and villains when their powers are stolen and have to return to the world as mere mortals? And what happens to the little girl who inadvertently stole them? As the story unfolds, we see how the characters and the world cycle through different phases of denial, anger, regret, and acceptance.
It truly is a good read, and Casey's labor of love. We want nothing more than to share the characters and the story with the world.
Thank you very much in advance for your help. We look forward to sharing Casey's vision with you very soon. And please, spread the word!
