It started as an off the wall idea between two friends - "can you create a Music festival in two countries at the same time, on the same day?"

London vs. Bogotá festival will be showcasing our favourite underground indie/rock/punk bands from both the cities of London, U.K. and Bogotá, Colombia.

We are very excited that we have bands such as Go Out Strangers (COL), No Stories (COL), Nanook el ultimo esquimal (COL), Death Pedals (UK), Jeeps (UK), The Drives (UK) on the bill among many more!!

Taking place at Surya Music Venue in Kings Cross, London and Santa Bohemia in Chapinero, Bogotá. They’ll be 10 bands playing at each show and plenty of other surprises.

What will bind the two events together is a 20 track limited edition (100 copies) compilation CD which will feature all the bands from both countries.

We've set this page up to help raise some funds for printing/postage/artwork.

For just £3 you can pre-order your copy of the Compilation CD. (And pick it up at the gig)

Alternatively if you'd like to donate £5 (Bogotá) or £7 (London) we'll throw in a gig ticket for you as well.

Just tell us your full name and we'll put you on the list :-)

See you there.

Risks and challenges

After we've been funded we will be relying on CD manufacturers (in the U.K.) and then postal services to get the CD's to Colombia. The process of sending the tracks/artwork to the CD manufacturers to the CD's arriving in Colombia should take 13 days. We will have 2 months from the Kick Starter funding ending to the actual day of the gig. We feel if any problems do arise we will be able to overcome them in this time span.
