The MCU resources are allocated dynamically.
The 16 number corresponds to the maximum number of voices that the instrument can play simultaneously. Depending on the combination of FXs, the Engines selected and various other parameters, the available number of voices can be limited.
With no FX activated :
- 16 voices of Pulse and Wave engine can be played.
- 10 voices of FM and Noise engine can be played.
A filter FX cost about 1 voice, a delay FX 2 voices and a space FX up to 4 voices of polyphony.
Therefore the number of voices varies on the multi configuration and the engines currently playing.
