About this project
The AirClip is a simple, easy to use, mobile accessory for the iPhone 4 (and iPhone 4S) that lets users hold their iPhone steady when recording video. This means no more "shaky" videos!
During the beta testing of an iPhone app that I was creating (AirCastLive), I discovered that when people wanted to record video with their mobile phone, most people held the iPhone in such a way that their videos always came out "Shaky". So much so, that the videos were hard to watch.
To correct this problem, I experimented with different hand positions, and body positions, but nothing we did seem to work. I soon realized that it was how the person was holding the phone that made the difference. So, I invented The AirClip.
By helping the user hold the phone in a more natural way, The AirClip makes the phone more stable, and therefore greatly improve, or eliminate the natural tendency people have to "shake" their phone while filming.
The money raised by this project will be used solely to manufacture The AirClip in Illinois. The product will be made out of ABS plastic and we are targeting the upcoming Holiday buying season to launch the product.
Unfortunately, this is not a cheap process, and as such I am asking my fellow KickStarters to support this project. I have already done a great deal of work on the overall design, the branding, and the patenting of the product. Now, I need to manufacturer it.
I have some experience in this field, as I have sold other mobile accessories to mobile handset manufacturers, as well as a major wireless carrier, and it is my hope to do that again with this product.
So, If you've ever watched, or recorded a "Shaky" iPhone video, please support us.
