Did you just check the RGB values of the colors? That makes no sense, as by your own pasted values the colors are clearly different.
I can see the difference on my display without any zooming or effort, and the surrounding colors of the breastplate differentiate it from Sylrianah's skin even more.
If you can't see the difference, I'd say that either you need to recalibrate your display, or buy a new one. CRT/LCD displays seem to darken and distort colors with time based on my experience.

Wow, looks perfect! I love all the Fire Emblem esque elements that are appearing in this game, like the mix of super deformed and detailed portraits. Im so excited to finally play!
I really like the text box + portraits style. Pretty funny that both Project Phoenix and Celestian Tales' text boxes might look really similar, but I don't have a problem with that :)
+1 on what João Pedro said - for replays a text FFW option like the one that has existed in VNs since forever would be nice to have.

I don't mind the words filling gradually as long as I can set teh filling speed on options.
Or just go the FFXII way and make it so we can skip the dialogue and if the dialogu mentions something thatw as said before thatw e might have skipped by mistake, allows us to see the dialogue log.
Will the text appear in and fill the box instantly? Or will it do that annoying as all hell thing that most JRPG's do (for some reason) by slowwwly filling in word by word - making you mash the confirm key over and over in a fruitless attempt to speed it up?
Having a toggle option like some games do (Skyborn for example) would make everyone happy :P
Will we be able to "close" the dialog boxes to see the background better? Sometimes the dialog boxes block the action on screen so I would like to be able to preview it off or something like that, like the Windows' "Show Desktop" function
I think using artworks during the dialogues is the right choice for a game of this kind, especially considering you can use such gorgeous portraits.
Yo, that's sleek. I agree with the "Talking profile" idea, with the image's mouth flapping, with maybe 2 or 3 variations for different moods, but looking good there

Not a big fan of the talking heads route, I'd much rather see dialog boxes pop up over the actual character model like you see in FFT and TO.
The background behind it though .... looks amazing!
If you do stick with the talking heads ... can you maybe add some color? They look very monotone (almost grayscale-ish), even though they aren't. If that makes sense.

i had problems with my pledge(the wrong amount went from my creditcard to the team). i already wrote this to the team, but they only told me to wait(that was in october 13) i wrote them again, with no answer.

That looks great, and I'm sure I'll enjoy whatever design you all settle on. While I like having the nice portraits come up, it makes it that much more jarring when assorted NPC dialogue doesn't include a portrait, so I hope if you do this you'll make some generic portraits as well for those times.
This picture makes me thought of "Sora no kiseki", j-rpg series from falcom, very much. I love it.
What do you guys plan to do for sections where the whole group is talking amongst themselves? Swapping portraits in that situation might look a bit odd. Maybe you should only show one portrait at once? This would also cut down on the amount of space you're using on the screen, which should make many scenes much easier to frame... right now you've taken up half the screen, which seems a bit excessive.
It does look beautiful, but I hope it will see more work in terms of the space it will take up. I really wouldn't mind at all if the box was smaller and it had no portraits at all, but I enjoy the pantomiming that the deformed player models put on in most games and prefer that to portraits.
I also think there's a point to be made toward dialog boxes in the style that FF7 used them... smaller boxes which generally showed up near their character. It really seemed to work in a game where there was a lot of conversational dialog. Food for thought!
