Ruffles' room... for fun!

Posted by CIA, Inc. (Creator)

Here's another test we're doing. There are no effects, just straight texture so the end product will look different from what you see right now. Please note, this is a very simple test to show people of our progress.

The interior models (besides the little grey Ruffles) are created by the veteran modeller, Sugihara san.

And no, this isn't really Ruffle's room, we were just playing around with objects and items =P

Very nice! I like those chests and can already hear the squeaking of opening them and ruffle's excitet giggling upon finding all the toys inside ;)

      *double thumbs up*

The atmosphere of the room kinda brings me back to some old games, but with a better and more qualities textures! I like it what you guys have done so far. And thanks for the great updates of the project.

Of course its not Ruffles room~! It doesn't have near enough potato chips

I love these art tests! This game is going to look VERY, VERY GOOD once it's done. This is very high-quality for a modest production, with tons of style and charm. Lighting and effects do make up, like, 50% of the final quality of anything you see, so if all the assets and textures look this wonderful now, I genuinely cannot wait to see the first "finished" area.

This is all I wanted JRPG's to look like for awhile now :P I'm playing through Tales of Xillia right now, and while it's gorgeous because of the aesthetic and art style, it's also PAINFULLY obvious that's it's still being built like a PS2 game. Seeing how long it takes NPC's to fade into view in barely-populated cities is PAINFUL. So I am really happy to see a game with a JRPG aesthetic being built CORRECTLY for a game coming out in 2015 or so. These updates make me very happy, they really do.

Very nice. I hope you guys can deliver the game by March 2015.

      I kinda doubt it =/

looking better than I expected, almost cgi quality textures vs sprites in other games which is a bonus!

I wish I had a room that size.

Looks super but to me an adventurer's place needs a coat rack by the door with traveling gear, a writing desk with chair to record you adventures when you return home, a kitchen sink next to stove, and the potbelly stove needs a flat top for cooking or better yet make into a wood burning oven, so you can have heat and warm food after all your adventures.
The final frontier....Ruffle's room, could use an attached rest room too but like most RPG it is probably better to leave that room off the list.......

One last thing Ruffle will need a step ladder for the book case

Hope Link won´t visit her. He would break her pots, open her chest and steal her rupies.
