Hi everyone,

We had a lot of success last weekend on the Google Hangout. If you came in late or did not get a chance to attend the hangout you can view the entire thing HERE

Now, onto the update, as we stated over the weekend we have sent out the emails to all the backers who have characters to create. This is a very exciting time for us, because our artists finally get to interact with the backers to create their ultimate character.

Also, our director Hiroaki Yura will be at E3 so for the Phoenix Level backers who are attending the event this year, he will either shout you a beer and coffee and talk to you about the project and answer any questions you may have. Please note, that Project Phoenix will not be featured in this year's E3 as Hiroaki will be attending the event for a different game.

We also, have an updated release schedule for everyone. It is as follows:

Alpha (First Act) – June 2015

Alpha Public Release - September 2015 (Tokyo Game Show)

Beta (All Acts) - December 2015

Beta Public Release - March 2016

E3 Release / Localization and Bug Test - June 2016

Please note that this is the schedule for now, we may run into delays but we will definitely keep communications open with all our backers if further delays are to be expected. We are only concerned with delivering the best with what we have and time is what will make the difference in quality of the final product.

Honestly, I have around 80 unfinished & mostly unplayed games on Steam & a good couple dozen Console titles I've never touched yet that I've bought over the years. So ya, I can wait for this game to come out. There's no rush I suppose... But that's just how I'm feeling about it.

@abdullah the release date you are mentioning is estimated for original goals, this game got 10x initial goal, so the scope of project is bigger

you are delaying the game for two years! the initial goal was for nov 2014! I don't know about everybody but I don't fell like this project will deliver, it's been a really long time and the project only done so little, and now you are considering changing the engine? I don't want to play it in 2018

That's cool and sad at the same time. Cool that I know when I can play the game. Sad that the final release is still far. Well, take the time you need to polish it I guess.

Even though I'm liking the new schedule. It seems way optimistic considering you'll be swapping engines.

I'd really like if those schedules were met, sure. But I'll keep my expectations in check. Still really hoping for a good game, though.

Sounds awesome, I need to get back to the forums and do more testing on the developer forums. I kind of forgot all about it for a bit.

Crowdfunded games are never an easy road. Best of luck and looking forward to hopefully seeing the game in person at E3 2016!
