Wood Samples, Box Insert, and more proofing
We've spent the last few weeks going back and forth with the printers, getting everything closer to completion. We had some margin and color issues, but those have been fixed and resent, so we should be getting digital proofs of those soon.
One of the more complicated parts of our project is the custom wooden pieces, so seeing pictures of them made by someone other than Rob and his saw is pretty exciting.
The armor tokens (bottom left, they are upside down) look thicker than we wanted, so we are adjusting those. Some of the black looking enemy meeples are supposed to be grey, which they actually are, but they are closer to the black than we wanted so those are being adjusted as well.
We were very proud of our box insert design, so it was a bit disappointing when we were told that the process that would be used to make it didn't support some of our shapes. We've discussed the important points of the design and Panda's molding people have come up with one that will work that still meets all of our requirements.
The colored boxes are where each type of tile will fit, the right side is where the cards and wooden bits go. The grey spots on the left side are for expansion tiles.
You haven't gotten one yet, but they will be coming out soon so that we can figure out how many pallets go to which ports. We will be sending extra to every region to cover future orders, but getting an accurate count from the surveys will make sure we get it right.
