Final Proofreading #2, and Blind Testing

Thank you for all of the notes on the last batch of stuff, if was greatly appreciated.  We have fixed those errors, finished the final manual layout, and are ready to send everything out!  Since we can still make minor changes to the manual during proofing, we will be uploading all of our remaining files and starting the process once we hit the publish button on the update.  This will get it started, especially on the harder stuff like box insert and custom meeples, while we do any final needed tweaks (like sharpening the background graphics).

Blind Testing

While proofing is going on, we will be doing blind testing of the manual.  We have purposely not taught some of our gamer and non-gamer friends the game yet so that we can hand them a manual and a prototype and see what happens now.  We will also be looking at some local game stores and hitting up their regular gaming groups to do the same.  If you are local to Maryland, and have not played (or have friends that have not) and you would like to play, please get in touch and we will try and set something up.

Proofreading

Below you will find the mission and task cards, and here is a link to the manual. Again, if you have some time, please read some or all and let us know if we've missed anything, or if you have any suggestions.

      Aaron, it looks like your group is heading to Games and Stuff on Saturday. I can be there if you can convince them that they want to learn something new.

      All looking good!, for blind testers in the area can i suggest http://www.meetup.com/Halethorpe-Board-Game-Club/ we do pretty regular meets at the wegmans in columbia on the weekends, and at a local bar on monday nights fishhead canteena. I will admit to the ulterior motive of if you guys teach the game to people when my copy comes I have already trained players!!!

      Rules page 9 says enemy tiles with white arrows target survivors. Page 14 says black arrows means target survivors.

      Page 20 talks about Trading with Tiles. However, it doesn't say how to tell what Tiles can be traded with. Neither does the Tile section.

      For the Scout mission, I think it is a little unclear if you can forfeit a character and spawn a new one at the base or not.
