Our Story
One of our Co-Founders, Gerald, started using a standing desk several years ago. Within the first few months, he went to the doctor with some pain in his left leg. It turns out that standing still all day wasn't any healthier than sitting all day. The combination of gravity with prolonged standing ended up creating a lot of pressure on the valves in the veins in his legs. As a result, he ended up having to get surgery to remove the longest vein in his body.

He teamed up with an engineer, a designer, and a physical trainer to think about how they could create a more active lifestyle at work. They all enjoyed similar lifestyles outside of the office: hiking, biking, and playing sports. So they were determined to bring that active mindset to the desk. They ended up designing an anti-fatigue mat that was inspired from how nature keeps us subconsciously moving.
CubeFit TerraMat Description
This anti-fatigue mat was designed to help you subconsciously move throughout the workday. Unlike all of those kitchen mats that are currently being used in the office, this mat was specifically designed for standing desks. There are at least ELEVEN starter positions to keep you active with an unlimited amount of new positions being created every day. This is a necessary addition to every standing desk.

We have gone through several design iterations with our manufacturing partner to ensure we could create a quality product at a mass scale with minimized risk of completion. Our manufacturer is already lined up to deliver 2,000 CubeFit TerraMats within the next two months.
