Most Tamagotchi-style pet games have mini-games like rock-paper-scissors, match 2 or catching falling fruit. It was super important to us that any games we add feel more like activities with your pet. In Pakka Pets we are trying to make our 'games' a seamless part of the experience. Cave exploring, teasing your pet with food, growing plants and playing outside in your garden are some examples. We have many more games and activities planned, but a lot of what goes in the game will depend on Kicstarter's funding!
We really care about this game and we'd love to reach all of our stretch goals. Kickstarter money goes primarily toward food and rent during development. Each stretch goal is going to take more time, so in order to work on them we'll need more funds. If you see a stretch goal that you like, please tell your friends and everyone you know, and let's hope we reach it!
We'd absolutely love to add player-to-player interaction in Pakka Pets. It'd be so cool to add the ability to have a friends list and be able to visit, chat, and play with other Pakka friends. It entirely depends on how far Kickstarter goes!
These codes will be similar to the kinds that you would see in games from the 90s. They will do things that let you play with the game's world in fun and interesting ways. Some examples: Make your pets grow huge, alter gravity & bounciness of food and objects, strange weather indoors, rot & un-rot food
NOTE: the codes we give out are going to be a surprise! Some of the ones on this list might be in there, and there will be others that we include that aren't listed here!
Yes, you will definitely be able to play Pakka Pets on iPad, but it may not be iPad native. This means visually that the game will run up-scaled to fit the iPad screen size. Fortunately, we have been developing Pakka Pets in such a way that will make it possible for us to make it iPad native eventually. An HD iPad native version is definitely not out of the question for our future. We'll just have to wait and see!
