To share how we choose Stretch Goals, we have to tell you the two types of stretch goals we will NEVER offer.
1. Stretch Goals that affect gameplay which aren't thoroughly tested prior to the Kickstarter. All stretch goals we provide must go through 100s of playtests, and that takes a lot of time, effort, and cost. There are always really cool suggestions in the comment threads, many we've considered ourselves. But if it isn’t something we can test and confirm is definitely better then we can’t add it. We are listening, but first and foremost we are going to make sure you get the best product we can guarantee. Sometimes that means we have to say no to some ideas that sound cool.
2. Stretch Goals for elements that NEED to be a part of the game. For example, there is no item to make the sumo ring sturdier, because it will be - it HAS to be. That is core to the game. If it means we end up spending a bit more, then we will do it and it won't affect the price you pay.
Everyone wants to make this the absolute best game possible. So do we. We are listening to every bit of feedback.
