About this project
Dungeon Dive is a percentile tabletop RPG game for 3 or more players set in a Fantasy world that is a cross between Western Lore and Eastern Wuxia. As proud members of warrior cast the world is a playground where you can use Ki, Magic or both in combination with vicious weapons and cunning to earn great wealth and fame, hunt the Strong beasts or find the rarest materials.
The game is being designed by Nicholas Ansen , a solo-entrepreneur and avid gamer who seeks to turn 20 years of D&D, Pathfinder, Comics, Light novels and Wuxia into a rule format allowing anyone to live through their own adventure.
Dungeon Dive has a complex mix of mechanics and includes elements inspired by Dungeon building games (e.g. Dungeon keeper) Percentile RPGs (e.g. MechWarrior, Warhammer 40k Dark Heresy) D20 RPGs (e.g. pathfinder, Dungeons & Dragons) and Wuxia Light novels (e.g. True Martial World, Martial World, Legendary Moonlight Sculptor, Sovereign of the Three Realms).
The way you play is up to you with a Points Buy System combined with 30 Traits allowing great strategic depth not available in a Class based system while maintaining a very accessible rule set.
The game features Twelve Bloodlines each one allowing and denying game elements for a different flavor of play.
Elemental and Physical Aspect Fae.
Swing a sword, shoot a Bow, use Ki to buff physical abilities and fire Ki waves or chose one of the 11 Elemental Magic each with it's own special effect.
How will you defeat your enemy?
I am a solo-entrepreneur while having the idea for this game for a long time I have never really had the finances to make my idea a reality. There is no Company or business behind this project thus I am relying on Kickstarter to Kick Start this project as it helps me to assess the level of demand for the game and to finance the costly production.

About the Creator
My name is Nick I am 29 years old full time employee and an avid gamer having spent 28 of those years playing some form of game. For the last 20 though I have played any an all table top games that my friends and I could get our hands on from D&D to Pathfinder and beyond. However we have never found a system completely to our liking so with your support we decided to start designing one. Dungeon Dive
Playtesters: 12 Friends have volunteered to be playtesters and help me to create this awesome game however this is not enough. Once we have compiled a bata version including basic rules a few items and some monsters to fight we will be releasing it on this site for anybody who wants to review it and give feedback. So please when this happens tear it to shreds and tell me what you think of it because I can only fix what I know is broken.
Risks and challenges
I have no experience with managing and fulfilling a crowd funding project thus there are some risks involved that everyone backing the project must be aware of.
There could be delays: freight and worldwide fulfillment is complex and involves numerous companies. I am in the process of talking with other creators for tips and tricks on how to manage fulfillment the best way possible.
I will do my best to solve any problems that may arise and keep you regularly updated.
Dungeon Dive features multiple types of combat and skill options and i am dedicated to balancing as many mechanics as i possibly can. There is no point in a perfect selection of skills or having a must have skill set, some skills will be more important such as speed however spending points in another area should gain you an advantage speed alone can not.
I am aware that other games with D20 or percentile systems (Pathfinder) end up being perceived by players as much less balanced than the creators predicted. In order to mitigate this risk, I have no choice but to study both the results from numerous computer generated random roll situations and player games, adjust and try again.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
