@LECLERE - Sorry to hear you didn't get the GOG key. I wonder if Warhorse is aware that Steam keys can be revoked. I don't know what Steam's rules are on that, but I have seen projects that gave a Steam beta key, and then revoked the Steam key to give a GOG key once released. The beta keys would also be good for real release too.

This also may not be an option since activation was through linking accounts, and not by using a key.

I would like to thank Warhorse Studios! :)

I'm glad I didn't use the steam code. Now I received all GOG stuff:

      1. The game.
      2. Artbook and OST.
      3. Free DLC "Treasures of The Past".

I waited almost 5 months for this moment! I'm glad that I couldn't get a refund. Because I waited for this game and always wanted to have fun with it. Even if there is still no Linux version - I'll configure WINE and GONNA HAVE FUN! But still wish a native Linux version. :)

@Uncontested: More info about upcoming DLC and the availability for backers was published here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1294225970/kingdom-come-deliverance/posts/2177130

      Nothing new here.
Still no generosity for the guys who believed in your dream and made the creation of DLC even possible.
But maybe i am wrong and the kickstarter campaign was just a PR stunt.

Well... lucky you. I trusted them when they said that it was not possible for them to give GOG keys to the backers and I reluctantly activated the Steam key. I contacted them a few days ago but they refused to give me a GOG key... so, now, if I want to play the game I backed on the platform of my choice, I have to buy it again (which isn't going to happen). Trust broken and lesson learned for me.

they responded this morning and my issue is resolved. I thank you. I will add a voice that while i very much would like a linux version i can understand why you don't go that route and won't hold it against you. Maybe one day linux will win a large enough share of the home market to encourage game developers. Some very good games have made it to linux including divinity original sin and borderlands 2 as well as xcom 2 but to be fair the market is very small and games that target xbox might be harder to support on linux.

I understand the no linux part. While i would love linux I'm not going to hold that against you because it is extra dev work and only a few people like myself prefer linux but it can be a lot of work depending on how the game was developed and which graphic primitives you used. The gog key is a bit different since the game was offered on gog and is administrative work but shouldn't be a huge effort. Should I open yet another ticket or will they eventually update the current ticket to get a gog key.

I gave you my ticket # in the previous update. When I asked for a gog key i was denied. Whether you agree with your guy or with myself i would appreciate an answer. I realize you are very busy and was going to wait longer for htis post but since you once again bring up gog I'm raising my ticket. When the game first was announced on gog and after it was released on steam I asked for a gog key they said wait. I waited then they said no. Now they say it's too late. now you say we can get a gog key. Now they say no we can't. You can see how that frustrates myself. read the ticket.

So even as a Wenzel level backer we don't get DLC?? Wow.. Thats... surprising to say the least.

    13. Jalister on

I like the sound of that. Email incoming.

Don't forget they haven't delivered a Linux or Mac version either.

    16. Spielosoph on

Yes, not giving the DLC to any backers sucks.
And every week a new reminder is very cheap advertising for the target group.

Some Kickstarter Projects just are more grateful than others.

@Benjamin Fair points. That‘s really not ok from warhorse.

    18. Jalister on

They still mention going to Steam or GOG to get the updates or DLC when they know they refused to give us GOG keys.

So I paid for the Duke collection, didn't received the promised signed poster, a t-shirt in my size, and the metal box. Also I paid for Act 2 which was "canceled" or, respectively everybody with a digital copy received, and now I should pay for this DLC? ...
