      Unbelievable how honest the video feels, haven't had that feeling being told the truth to my (internet-)face for a long time; I sincerely hope this is for real and not some PR stunts.

      Some jokes are a bit cheesy but maybe I'm just getting too old :-)

      Thanks for being so honest, and it is good to see the community being understanding too! As far as third person goes i think it is a great idea because although i rather first person every time it is a single player game where it wont affect game balance and widens the market for third person lovers. Good move putting stretch goals on hold too, don't overload yourselves guys! Have a great Christmas and see you all in the new year!

      So I kind of agree with putting the stretch goals on hold for now. There's certainly no need to put something if there are no good ideas, or every good idea is also difficult to implement. Keep the project lean.

      With that being said one idea for a possible future stretch goal is some sort of collectible from the project. And I'm not talking about running a production of something - that'd be tons of money, but actually offer specific items from your production.

      It's not a feature of the game, but you know how gamers are - we love ourselves some collectibles from our favourite games. :)

      Any in case anyone's thinking "well wait a second, what do they need extra money for to sell a bunch of stuff that they already have?!", the way I see part of the extra money will go directly back into development and the rest towards all the work of organizing and running either the sale or the auction of said items.

      Anyway, just an idea.

      I really love how open and trasparent you guys are. And I really hope that won't somehow backfire on you but will work out in the end. You may be a model for future crowdfunded projects. Larian did a great job here for the most part of their campaign and development, but imho you currently top this. :-)

      And I appreciate the decision to cancel stretch goals for the moment. No need to summon the feature creep.

      For the stretch goal, I'd suggest either taking a break, or using something nebulous to effectively say the same thing, such as:

      'Overall improvements - Additional funds will allow us to spend more time improving various aspects of the game and the previous stretch goals to ensure they will be meaningful additions to the game'

      Hi There ! For stretchgoals, what about contracting known talents ? Having a famous game writer craft some interesting side quest, or some famous concept artist experiment where you can afford to without breaking immersion (maybe clothes and weapons are a big no, but I bet there could be some smaller areas where it could work, such as churches stain glasses, armorial bearings etc ...), or maybe decently famous yet still affordable voice actors ?.
      I can clearly recall Torment : Tides of Numenera going that way, and even if I have to admit bringing famous writers is easier in that kind of game I'd bet it could still work here, and not only with writers.

      One idea regardimg the goal.

      Provide to us the tools you're using to create quests, characters, etc. I mean: to make it easier to us to mod the game.

      I remember that the funniest feature on Duke Numen 3D, for me, whas the mao editor.

      So... Why don't give them to us? (Limited versions, of course). It is not a big cost for you (at least I expect it) and it can be a lot of fun

      I wish more people were as honest and authentic as you in the status updates. Thanks for showing bugs etc., it's nice to be able to laugh about it.
      Fascinating to hear about the production process.

      I love you guys, you also make amazing and entertaining videos. Keep up the great work and I look forward to the next update - both alpha and Kickstarter video!

      While I'd be happy with an OPTIONAL third-person mode, and really really don't get how anyone could object if it was totally optional, I do believe that most of your backers don't care for it - and most importantly, I am happy for you to give stretch goals a rest.

      Even I know that game development isn't as simple as "get $10,000, get a third-person mode", there's got to be backup funds in case anything goes over budget. Which it will. I'd rather you apply extra funds to make what you already have better rather than keep adding new stuff.

      Everyone else agree with me?
