Recorded music remains the best way for musicians to share the art they've poured their soul into creating, but at a time when fewer people are buying music, the process of releasing new music can be a daunting task. Some artists have access to their own studio and the skills required to record their music at virtually no cost to themselves. In our case, we believe the listener is best served by putting the technical aspect of the recording process in the hands of someone who has the tools and know-how necessary to capture what we've created in a way that translates to people discovering our music in its highest quality form. However, this can be expensive. The beauty of Kickstarter is that it gives listeners a medium to give back and a way to support music that they believe in. In return, we've come up with a number of incentives that we hope people will be excited about!
A couple of our incentives include some really cool artwork by good friends of ours.
Limited Backer Only Poster- Trey Moseley (treymoseley.com)
Limited Backer Only T-Shirt- Matthew Hasting (instagram.com/matthewhasting #MHXII)
We would also like to deeply thank Derek Scearce (http://www.youtube.com/user/imagerystorm) for making the coolest kickstarter video that's ever existed. Go watch all of his videos!
Thank you so much for taking the time the read this. We can't do this without your help and we appreciate your consideration to support our music. With any luck, we'll see you soon!
p.s. if you are stumbling upon this and have never heard us, here is a taste of what the sound is like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hiy1IlBzL9g
Risks and challenges
The risks we may run into only include time delays surrounding the process of releasing a legitimate musical product. If we are to run into these sorts of issues, there will be a later delivery date on all incentives.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
