Giving away 51 Free CDs

In honor of my upcoming 51st birthday this April, I've decided to give away copies of my CD "Goes Without Saying" to the first 51 people who ask for one.

All I ask is that you cover the postage fee, and encourage your friends to get their own copy.

Thanks again to everyone who helped make this CD possible. Stay tuned for my next project!

Help the MPS Project get on the air!

Hi again friends. Well it's hard to believe that a year has passed since this project reached its funding goal. Thank you all so much for your support!

I'm very proud of how "Goes Without Saying" turned out. Marketing the CD has been very challenging though. I've learned from this experience that getting a jazz CD on the air is nearly impossible without a lot of hard work and, in most cases, additional investment. So I'm asking for your help - not with money, just a few minutes of your time.

Grooveshark is running a promotion for a free airplay campaign. All it takes is 100 people to "follow" us. Please click the link below. You may need to create a Grooveshark account. Then just click the "Follow" button!!/artist/The+MPS+Project/2640380

Thanks so much!!!

CD's are finally here!

The CD's have arrived, and they look and sound fantastic! I did an initial pressing of 500 copies. They will go on sale on tomorrow, If you contributed $10 or more, I'd like to send you a copy, so please respond with your address. Backers, I will be following up with each of you to discuss your rewards. Thanks again so much for helping make this possible.

Love, Michael

Mastering in Minneapolis

Tomorrow I am taking my digital CD tracks into a studio in Minneapolis to be mastered.

Somehow it seems fitting that this project should end where it began: in my home town, where I first learned to play and compose music. (OK so technically I grew up in St. Paul but let's just roll with it!)

Next stop: CD duplication and online distribution!

Thanks again, to all of you who helped make this dream a reality.
