Some art is coming in, waiting for backer responses too!

Posted by Alex White (Creator)

Just a short update this time.

Art Update

Some of my first art has come in and put in the appropriate places in the rules; I'm really pleased with how it is looking. I've seen sketches of some other art pieces, so it is good to see things underway.

Backer Generated Content

I sent out emails last week to all the backers who get to contribute to the rules by virtue of the backer level which they chose. Many thanks for those of you who have already replied - there is some awesome additional locations in the rules now, from the somewhat dilapidated Harmony Station at Coltech with the large number of downbelow dwellers, to the brilliantly shining Prism station at Brightstar where protective masks encourage clandestine meetings. From the puzzle hedges of Haig on Canopy, to the crystal cavern of Tourmaline on Crystalmine.

If you haven't received one of these emails and thing you should have done, please get in touch with me.

If you have received one of these emails, then it would be great if you could get back to me with your chosen system and some details about the capital in the next couple of weeks, so that we can avoid delays in production. It may be helpful to give me a first, second or third choices just to reduce the problem in clashing choices.

I am really looking forward to seeing what other innovative places you come up with for the game!

Finally - A Starguild RPG Podcast!

Chris Lowry, who is relatively new to RPGs and was an early backer of Starguild ran an adventure and enjoyed it so much that he and his group have decided to run a campaign on the world of Corral. That's not all though - they are putting up a podcast of their adventures and Chris is starting to write some of them up too.

Why not take a listen here:

and both encourage Chris on his site, and everyone else by comments here.

I still remember it from Popular Science. And I think I had a book full of his art. Triply stuff. And to think it could have been the ship design for Dune.

When I was growing up, the Chris Foss art on the Panther science fiction books was part of the fabric of my childhood!

For some reason I want to use Chris Foss art for the basis of my Starguild game.
