We Broke Dropbox!

It turns out sending around 1.5GB of information to 1,200+ people is really difficult!

So we are going to go back to the first plan. If you did not receive our original email, and could not find it in your spam filters, and did not get a chance to download the movie before Dropbox went down, please message us and we will resend you your link.

If you had trouble downloading from ganxy (which is where the original link goes) and your link is now expired we'll send you a new link.

Thanks for your patience!

      never got my movie thanks.

    16. Creator Liam Pomfret on February 9, 2013

Hmmm. Ganxy seems to have given me the $20 download link, yet it seems like I only pledged $10 to this Kickstarter way back. So not complaining, but I doubt that was intentional.

    23. Creator Cath on February 8, 2013

First off congrats! Second, after a couple of failed attempts nabbed the bundle from the Ganxy link and it unzipped fine (Using Firefox & Winrar), can't wait to start watching. Thanks again for putting so much work into this. :)

    24. Creator Mark Urbanski on February 8, 2013

Though, in retrospect (and because KS won't let one retract or edit their comments...) if you're trying to limit what people can download based on their respective pledge amounts, maybe Bit Torrent isn't EXACTLY what you need.

    27. Creator Pete Thornbury on February 8, 2013

This is EXACTLY what Bit Torrent was made for.

    28. Creator Anthony Carpendale on February 8, 2013

Here's a solution? - Upload the high-res file to Vimeo, then allow people to download it from there.
Anyone (even non-account holders) can download an HD film on Vimeo if the maker enables the download button. You can password protect it or share it with individuals also. Hope that helps.

    29. Creator Chris on February 8, 2013

You could ask in the appropriate sub on Reddit what might be the best way to host the file. You'd score some awareness while you're at it.

And of course, like the others said, make a torrent. You can't rely on it alone as not everyone will know their way around BT but it'll help a lot right now.

    30. Creator Oliver Keller on February 8, 2013

      just create a torrent file!

    31. Creator Kineteka Systems on February 8, 2013

      Try using a torrent.
