Altor 560G: An ultralight high-security bike lock.
Made from Grade 5 titanium the 560G is beautiful and tough at the same time.
Weighing just 560 Grams (or 1.23 lbs) the 560G is the lightest high-security lock ever.
While there are other companies that have tried to make titanium locks, nothing comes close to the security of a 560G. This patent pending design is machined from solid Grade 5 titanium, one of the strongest alloys on the market so it stands up to the toughest sustained attacks.
The 560G also folds and clips to your belt or bag.
Push Button Lock
Two 560G's can be linked together to easily extend your reach, or increase your security with two 560G's paired together.
How big is the 560G?
The 560G folds up into a very small profile. We are currently working on new ways to attach it to the bike as well!
Dylan Cato - Dylan is a Co-Founder and the CEO of Altor. While studying mechanical engineering at Lehigh University Dylan realized the problem cyclist were having with heavy high-security bike locks and engineered the 560G. Dylan is new to cycling but quickly became a cyclist during the development of the 560G. He looks forward to creating more products to improve the riding experience of cyclists everywhere.
Luke Sahagian - Luke has been a cyclist for as long as he can remember. While in school he raced in the gravity series of the ECCC for Lehigh University. After completing his master's degree, he went to work for a few startups. His background is in product and graphic design specifically geared towards a startup environment. When he is not in the office, you might find him riding vintage bikes around the town.
Back Us Now!
We have the product fully developed and manufacturers lined up for production. All we need is your help to make the first order. Although we are a small team we will begin shipping by the end of July. Help us bring a higher standard of security to cyclists everywhere.
Risks and challenges
Our project is going to be made by a very small team, but we already have made 50 product models. Our manufacturing space and process has been finalized and we are waiting for orders. Our goal is to ship everything by the end of July as most cyclists in the US are more active during the summer. Unfortunately if you live abroad shipping may take slightly longer, but expect to see your 560G in time for this riding season.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
